Racing's game is off this week as Woodston cannot get a team and the league advised they may be folding due to lack of players.
For a Prem side, that is shocking.

moe me get the winner?haha.hope so mate.jne disagree that all them teams are too strong, scarletts beat fratelli last round and is there really a lot between powerleague and fratelli?also think emap will beat deeping.
Why not your young athletic and you prowess in front of goal is legendary............................

The speed with which Richie chased Kev last Sunday was unbelievable, extremely athletic. Thanks for your vote of confidence Ritchie, hope we both make it through.Especially if we decide to unleash our secret weapon, Twinkle toes(tinker man).
Ritchie as I said before, it depends on who Deeping get out as potentially they have the best team around due to all the deeping UCL players available to dethick!! Deeping will be to strong for EMAP's headless chickens!! ha ha
As for scarletts, sorry know very little about them so went with the league situation and powerleague in the prem!!

I am sure Shaky was belowing at the JNE 'headless chickens' at HT during our game with them when it was 0-0 and looking really bad for the Prem champs, 2 Rankin goals nailed us in the end but we ran you close....
But you're right if Deeping manage to field the UCL lot we're gonna be right up against it, have to wait and see I guess.
I do fancy Scarletts over Powerleague though, if Starks gets a full team out I'd make them favourites as I'm sure the top 3 or 4 in our league would hold their own against the bottom 4 from the Prem anyday???
All good banter though and at least proves we do have strong competition in the Sunday leagues...

i'd like to think we'll beat powerleague as we did so quite comfortably last season in the cup and i believe both teams personnel are still pretty similar. add to that us knocking out fratelli's in the last round struggling to get the bare 11(i hobbled around injured for about 105 mins of the game) i think that could put us as slight favourites although i'm certainly not counting any chickens yet!
as for the deeping emap game? if deeping are at full strength and take the game seriously i'm afraid they could get into double fugures.

i've seen and played with and against most of those deeping boys on their day and they have the ability to demolish any team in the sunday morning league it just depends whether they give a s**t or not.
oh and ritchie you can stop winging at me now i've been on here and helped you fight the scarletts corner!
What does fugures mean? We may well get beaten, but no way by double figures - have a word with yourself!

i was merely pointing out that they have it in them. if you turn up the way you did against the limetree at fulbridge road and they have a first choice squad to choose from and are on top of their game then they would destroy you and most others in sunday football.
that said it's a very 50/50 game for you just dont underestimate them-especially in the cups as they showed last year.

that game against Limetree we trialled a new keeper who gifted LT 3 shocking goals and we've shored things up no end since then...
Point defo taken though, we know that on their day they are a real decent outfit, we wont be taking them lightly at all... I just wish we didn't have so many bloody injuries right now, it's no exscuse as we'll take nearly a full strength team with a decent keeper so we're in a confident mood....
So it's JNE or LB if we make it through - great!
about time jb!jne to be honest i know little about powerleague and was just sticking up for scarletts.hope we dont go and get spanked now.haha
Beware of Lee Goode in the middle of the park (if he still plays).

Just to confirmed Woodston have folded with 6 games remaining, it has been a struggle from the start this year and although we had many players signed on most of them wouldnt play for whatever reason!
My regulars were committed through and through but you can not play games with only 8 players a week and in the end even they knew it was time for a break!!
It is gutting but when things dont work they it best to stop and not struggle!!

Any results lads???
Deeping beat us 4-3 in a game made a little bizzare by some strange reffering decisions, we scored a pen and Deeping missed one (scholesy saved it!), Deeping had a man sent off with 25 mins to go and we were leading 3-2 at that stage, 2 horrible defensive errors cost us in the end although early in the 1st half Deeping missed a hatful of half decent chances.. We came back into it and went 3-2 ahead, should have won really but I guess Deeping will say they deserved it based on goal scoring chances created...
Look forward to be able to select a 1st team as I had to play 70 mins today and it half killed me hahahaha....
any others? JNE? Scarletts? league games?
Spot on Sean, although I would never dream of criticising a ref. on this forum ? Shame we had three regulars out,fair play to the lads that came in they did their best, don't know if it was a full strength Deeping or not. No excuses, we should have been out of it after 20 mins but we rode our luck and fought our way back in it. We fought that well that we went in front and really should have won it but as Sean said after a great effort we threw it away. Mixed feelings really not the team we would have selected but we had a chance. Unfortunately we've come out of it with more injuries but that's football. I suppose after we get over the disappointment we have to say we weren't that bad and when we did get started we gave them a good game. Best of luck to Deeping in the next round.
we lost 5-1 but the game as a whole was totally 50/50 and had we put away half of the numerous good chances we had it'd have been a totally different story 5-1 flattered them but thats football eh.
Netherton won 5-3 in a pretty poor game. Limetree scored 2 good goals to lead 1 nil and 2-1 but gave us our goals to leave it 2-2 at half time. We then scored 3 quick goals to pretty much seal the game. Limetree then scored a late goal to make it 5-3!
Sounds some good games all round!
JNE lost 3-2 in ET after looking to cruise through. Well done LB and good luck in the next round
Now while I will not criticise referees as they do a sterling job in difficult circumstances I can not help but mention a Mr A Swann who's sunday perfromance was "embrassing" for him! - Leave it at that! Sent 2 off and booked 5, lo and behold all from JNE none from LB yet not a bad tackle in the game!!
We played the game with 9 men for 70 mins and I had to go in goal (don't mention my pen save)!! We were 2-0 up and cruisng before Jamie went off late in first half with suspect broken ankle and Garwell then tore his hamstring!!
We soldiered on and then a mistake by me (I know they do happen) let them back in! Only to then have Ricky and Marcin both sent off!
In Goal I go and we play with 9!! Into ET and still 2-2 with a couple of saves from Me and us holding on, LB scored with 5 mins to go and through they go!
Swanny, I know you read this site and I know you comment in your paper. Your a top bloke and a good ref, what wound me up yesterday was you had an off day but failed to acknowledge it, even after the game! Maybe you should watch less of POSH/PREM footie and concentrate on grass roots :soo:
But Never mind, hope Jamie and Garwell are ok and we will be gracious in defeat and team spirit was great, We play and act like that the rest of the season we will not get beat!!!! Up JNE

JNE - sounds like your game was even more eventful than ours!!! We had 1 red card for a Deeping lad and 2 pens (we scored ours, they missed theirs), there could have also been 2 other pens but they weren't spotted.. A few of our lads were missing Sunday so I had to play which was a laugh for some of our lads as they watched me getting changed asking me what the **** I was doing hahahaha...
Best of luck to Deeping in the Semi, they'll have to play better against LB than they did against us to win that one I reckon..
Back to the league it is then! Royal Mail got spanked 6-1 which opens our league up again!
LB were not that good and have not impressed me at all this year bar Gareth and Thompson! Deeping will match them!!
Just read sean (their manager) comments in the paper and what a load of S**T. They were rubbish and played 9 men for seventy minutes and could not manage a decent shot til robbie miss hit it! We were crusing at 2-0 with Marcin not having a save to make til Mr Swann became the graham poll of sunday morning !
Hopefully we will meet them in the PFA final so we can put the record straight!:batr:

was a good night mate,well what i remember of it anyway. i wasnt much cop for our game. dalts and shaq didnt play which didnt help, nevermind there is always next year. your game sounds like it was fun, bet you playing for 70 minutes was quite funny. did you hear about my wonder goal?ha

Mate i actually played ok on the wing, set a goal up for jimmy with a superb cross and Jimmy volleyed home for the goal of the game!! but after HT I was seriously struggling to keep up hahaha, we had 4 1st teamers out so we had no options really!
I was also out all day watching Man U, both rugby games and Chelsea, thats why I didn't make the Rovers beers later - I was snoring on the sofa hahaha...
