THEY might now be managing different clubs in a different league, but Northern Star chief Tommy Cooper hopes nothing else will change when he clashes with his former Peterboro

Should be a cracking game and unfortunately tommy not selected me (he's an idiot-Bad decision, ha ha ) so will not be there!

Hope star win obviously but I can see why al is confident as he has the best player in the league in his side in Jamie Graham and our back 3,4,5? will have a hard time keeping him and Duane quiet!

Any predictions Al/Tommy? - Don't sit on the fence as i know you had some banter lately and this is a grudge match for both of you!!

Not a grudge match at all Foggy - Al and I are both opinionated characters who will periodically disagree over football things, but will always move on.

I am pleased that Al is enjoying life at this level, as am I, though it has been more of a challenge than I was expecting on and off the field.

Look forward to having a beer with Al after the game whatever the outcome and I am expecting nothing less than a really tough game.

Get off the fence tommy! Both of you are desperate not to lose and whoever is victorious will have a big grin on their face! With the other downbeat!

As for finding it hard, could not agree more!!

no sitting on the fence i want to win, but not just for me, but for my new club. we beat on chenecks who where 3rd at the time in my 1st game, but over the last few week's we have struggled big time with suspensions and injuries. with a bare 11 fit players for 3 games, but im pleased to say that we are not far off a full selection for the pns game and eynesbury need strong test like this so we know where we are going and what is needed. my personal battles with tommy mean nothing at all to the eynesbury club memebers

so tommy :flip: and i don't mean 1-1.

i will enjoy a beer and a chat after the game with tommy as i've said before i don't like tommy when it comes to football and the same goes to anyother manager i go up against, but away form the game i'll always have time for him.

Strangely enough the original Number 9 was an idiot until he unmasked himself as someone a little closer to home which caused much laughter.

Not sure that the new imposter is the same person, but does seem to be a little short of brain cells as well - tryed to understand your posting but English appears to be your 2nd language, or your extra digit impedes your typing (sorry couldn't resist - been ages since I had any banter with a Whittlesey chap)

Yep bring it on Al and to the victor goes the spoils - Foggy as you know I am miserable when we win and those rare times when we lose as well - anyone would having to watch PNS play every week!

Well done to Al and congrats on the 3-0. Not going to hide behind the 20th minuite sending off of Chris Plummer for a 2 footed challenge by Phil Anderson (erm one is black and one is white?) Great 2nd goal by MOM Brett Bellamy to boot - omwards and upwards to next week.

i'm still a long way behind in the win steaks but this victory was sweet. shocking what phil tied to do to brett and he let you and PNS down big time, no doubt he was looking for bragging rights to big himself up by trying to hurt brett and all he done was cost his team the game. i hope the f.a throw the book at him as you should also.

shame the lino got the wrong guy, but after that PNS deserved to be a man down.

thanx for the beer after the game tommy and see you next season :whs:.

Tommy well done- did u write a poem!
how about -
Tommy started the season with all the wonga,
If PNS any sense they won't have him in charge to much longer!
Well done Al, bet the beer tasted good!

Number 9 here is the poem you were looking for - sorry if some of the words are a bit long, but hopefully you can get your cellmate to explain what they mean.

He comes from the Fens and his number is 9
Is that his IQ or am I being too kind?
The man’s an impostor because we all now know
That the real number 9 was our good friend Robbo

Has he ever played football or is it just pretence?
My money’s on never or just sits on the bench
I suspect he was never one of Lee’s chosen men
The 1 season wonders never heard of again

The title celebrations stretched way past the norm
From May to December and nightly to dawn
We knew they were struggling when Ortonians came
And put 7 past the champions and became champions again

This season we wondered if it was time to bounce back
Good signings were made in defence and attack
They flattered; they wavered but then dropped of the map
And poor number 9 carried on just talking crap

:mabub:Tommy that is very good, made me laugh:kissin:
Pleased with the result Yesterday? Heard it could of been a cricket score?
Is that correct? Theres always next year?

At least your doing it for Peterborough:flip:
