just a little thing dont know who it really concerns but although everyone will admit that the site is superb in providin quick results, i notice that in many games the scorers are incorrect . i heard eddie patten scored 2 for ortonians yet it says lee ayres got 2 and baines 3 . now although im more likely to believe the latter eddie p swears on his life he scored 2

also earlier in the season netherton res won 7-1 and a young player conner owen was down as scorin 5 as a unused sub when it was someone else . im sure there are many more instances

Eddie the scorers are taken down at the centre when clubs telephone results in. They are then cross referenced with the result sheets when they are sent in and corrected if necessary. Therefore it is important that this information is conveyed correctly to ensure that it appears accurately on the site.

I have phoned scorers in personally Mark and they have appeared on the site wrong. Everytime Ray Nicholls scored it appeared as his son Gary and I made sure it was clearly Ray. I just put it down to the pressure of all the calls in short space of time

lol well all i know is that no one would ever suggest or phoned through that conner owen had scored 5 for us . i can see how confusion for the odd one goal etc but scorin 5 goals in one game n then someone else taking the glory . mind u prob helps us out as when teams look for who to mark in ur side they pick the wrong man!

lke i say dont know how mistakes can be limited etc but still think the site is a good one and not many leagues have such a site to look at .
