Jimmy Savilles dad returned to ref us again and there was no 'Jim fixed it for me' badges available for any of us as we slipped to our 4th defeat in a row against the young Kings Cliffe side.

A new manager, a new formation, but another bad result, first half was our best performance for a while, but we were punished for not finishing numerous chances. Second half was woeful.

I tried to cheer myself up by watching that 'stars in their eyes' rip off on BBC1....what a mistake that was.

Cup semi next sat, Eye Ressies must be dancing already and we have alot to do to stand a chance, thankfully a few players should be returning and thankfully that show is now finished on BBC1.

I couldn't watch for longer than 5mins Raph so no idea...it worries me that you want to know?!

Davey Boy has taken up the reigns.

He was the only one who could actually sing. (The ginger guy that is, not Davey Boy - he is tone deaf!)

I agree, and a Ginger Lionel is just quality. Sinatra was quite good as well, oh I mean not that I really saw any of it.

When your not doing well all the luck goes against you...we conceeded 2 own goals and a penalty that was actually a great tackle :sosad:

How come the change in manager?

Number 9 - With Fatboy Jim (oh and Lee) taking over the reigns for the first team, it left us in a bit of a pickle.

Young Trevor Bragg said he would do it, but only wanted to do it short term until someone could be found who wanted to take it on long term, Davey has decided to be that person as he knows quite a few of the newer lads that have joined, well he actually got them to join.

Not the easiest of tasks ahead for him!

LOL! Im struggling just to play at the minute! I had a good season last year when we were Farcet, but have been poor this season.

Think his surname is Sandford, he's got a lot to do, we were looking great before Xmas putting a string of wins together, but with a few players moving on to the first team (and rightly so) the reserves have lost their way a bit.

See you guys are still doing well and a great result against a strong Coates side, i know their keeper very well, Liam Higgins, good mate of mine and a quality keeper.

Davey Sandford used to play up front with us at EMAP for three seasons, or thereabouts. He'll have his work cut out, but with some good players backing him like Braggy, J Slim, Sid, Kev, Hanny & Dean - I am sure that you will be a force next season after your rebuild.

Ah Raph sweetheart, i would have been happy with that compliment but you put Braggy in there

remember him from school I think was half decent then, when I compare him to ours its unfair as my honest opinion fletch is the Best within the peterborough league bar none.
liam unfortunatly let in our sloppy equalizer saturday !

Slim - at least you not blaming me for the downslide in the reserves, it was a tough call for me to take the reigns of 1st team manager at psl, especially with over half of the reserves lads bein good mates of mine ( and u my bro ), but i felt it was time for me to move on and see if i can cut it at a slightly higher level...davey is a quality lad and give him time and your support n he will turn you round....

Davey was with us at EMAP up front for 2 seasons and is a quality player, get him fit and playing for you lot up front and goals will follow, dont let him sit and not pick himself...
He also used to help out at Northern Star when his (I think this right...) father in law, Mel Landing was there so he should know a thing or 2 about management...
I also hear Dean M is helping him out as well as playing for you lads, I wish them and PSL all the best....
