Im throwing out my oppinion of what i think the big picture is about the Prem going around the world.
let me start by telling you that the premier league officials are interested only in money (obvious) there not worried about the backlash because they make £620million on worldwide tv rights alone. So they dont need the fans?
But there is a reason behind these trials as i would like to refer them to, is simple to slowly move the top 4 Arsenal Chelsea Man Utd & Liverpool out of the premier league & create a new European super league.
they will prove its viable with these trial games then we will have Celtic & Rangers who we all know are dying to get out of the scottish prem anyway they can. The same with Ajax & PSV because the brand can only make so much in there small leagues.
As the other major european clubs directors ie Barca, Real, AC, Inter start seing the all mighty dollar they also will be begging for the action.
Lets not kid ourselves here, as much as we hate it there are cities all over the world that could sell these games 10 times over with stadiums of 100,000 easy. So as i said its the begining of the end & the start of comercial SOCCER! & like american football adverts every time the ball goes out or an injury.
