View Full Version : ARE YOU A REF? (FA affiliated)
Would you like to ref EMAP FC versus BREWERY TAP this Sunday morning? The PSMFL has actually done a great job of providing refs for the vast majorty of games in the League this Sunday morning, but we are struggling to find one for our game.
Can you help us out? A nice bottle of Italian wine may be available, to tempt you to pick up the whistle for our game!
Ross, are you reffing or do you know anyone who may help out?

raph i thought brewery tap have a ref every game mate.they put someone i know through a course and apparently if you do that then you should always have one. just what i have been told mate

the league are speaking to them tonight about that Richie - no idea if true or not but it's what I heard too... they've actually done well getting 14 or 15 refs out this weekend so I aint gonna knock em...
If anyone knows of anyone that may ref for us let Raph/me know?? Raph has some lovely Italiano wine available so I hear!!!

Weve got a couple of refs at our-don't think they use this site(IDIOTS)ill prod um down training tonite 4 u mate-swap that nice wine 4 a few pints your probably in with more chance mate

Not just a wine (or pint of beer) but we have fantastic food laid on for us at The Windmill in Orton Waterville - plus good transport links from there to A47, A1 & A605 - a play area for kids, fit waitresses/bar staff and two appreciative teams? !!

shame that ref cant do your game mate, thought he would be spare. considering tap put him through the course you would of thought he would do your game as i know thats what has happened in the past. if you dont get a ref come and cheer the scarletts on! (providing we have a ref ourselves that is)

got a text last night. scarletts game off no ref. i text back to see if they could sort something as we have asked for a free week next weekend

good luck but I doubt the league can do much as they seem to be just 2 or 3 refs short this week so they can't really pull a ref from another game to get yours (or ours) sorted can they?? We had a free week last week also and it wasn't through our own choice, just so happened we had no fixture.....

Result - I think we have a ref after all....
No9 put us in touch with someone who has said he can do it - thanks mate...
We're trying to get the league and our opposition to agree the game can go ahead and then we're back on (I hope)...!!!

Indeed a joke. How can six hours stop you raising a team? Just because we would've spanked the tap 6 or 7 nil, they have bottled it. Well done guys.

The league have refs doing nothing this weekend but do not bother to contact them, although Sean maybe you should ring Titman next time you are short. haha

hahaha... MR T was actually at a Saturday game I was playing in around Xmas time, he was assesing something or other, not a word said hahaha... nice one MOE but I doubt I'll be calling on MR T's services anyday soon...
Where did you hear the league has refs but are not calling on their services then? I cant imagine they have made all their calls themselves yet so unless you are part of the committee and know something then you're waffling mate!!!
ps forgot mention the one legged, alcholic, womanising average darts player that sometimes turns out for mail, some say that he's a qualified ref but he never seems to answer his txt mesages.
He's not too bad though - has the old skool orange chelsea away shirt doesn't he? !!
Remind Raph, Didn't I fall asleep Sunday afternoon watching Chelsea and Liverpool, it almost made me feel like starting my decorating, only almost. You must have been really pleased with that performance.

Moe = Titman?? I just got an email from Mr T saying he'd posted something on here about refs and Moe is the only one I can see that did that????
Mr T's email is as funny as you like, he's not lost his ..... errrr ... his... well you know him so you know what I mean!!!
Basically he's trying to point out that the PSMFL have refs that are not being asked to ref games but are available if spoken too - what a joker, it was under his leadership that this whole situation arose in the 1st place and he waits till he's gone to point out faults that were there when he was leading things!!! GEEEEENIUS!!!
Anyhow:
I hear the PSMFL (without Mr T thankfully) are to try and put measures in place next week that will allow every game to go ahead every weekend, I hear they really are starting to uncover some things that held us back that were put in place by the previous regime and hopefully they'll be sorted by the end of next week..
All that is just what I hear and I cant comment further as I want the PSMFL to succeed in improving things for us all...
