View Full Version : PIS versus AK11
This Sunday PM it is the 'friendly' league clash between PIS and AK11. We will be short a few players who refuse to play after the intimidation they received in the last two fixtures from AK11.
I, however . . . can't wait! :str:
Bring it on.
Kick off is 2pm at Bretton Woods. We will have a weakened side, so come down and give us a little support

How did this game go!:soo:
At PIS we have some really great players on paper, world beaters in fact. However, the past three games that we have played, we have looked more like panel beaters! AK11 won and I must give them credit for the fact that it was a good battle, but with no stupidity coming into play; which has marred previous encounters.
I exchanged banter with AK's two forwards, who were quick and decisive going forward. When they are supported by their two wingers as well, it is very difficult to defend against.
I know that one or two of you AK11 players look at this forum, but don't comment . . . so for your benefit, well done and good luck with the rest of the season. Let's hope that we give a better account of ourselves the next time that we play you. Maybe you should register on here and leave posts of your own too? It is a voice for all and you should get your opinion across once in a while too, to make it a universally representative forum.
PS - some 'interesting' decisions from the ref and a few silly tackles from both sides, but no retaliation. Well done both sides.
(although it would be interesting to see if the above still happened, if we were winnning!)

doubt it raph, interesting result in our game we were in controll 2-0 up and had a crazy 20 mins were we conceeded 4 goals all silly mistakes. But even more interesting was spikes had a ringer in there team. Dont wanna name him as he is well known and i no him personally me self. But have a funny feeling we will be awarded the win if we decide to put in a complaint. This player in mention did make a big diff to them, but to be fair we were our own worst enemy. Missed a host of chances prob about a good 10 were most teams would struggle to miss and we did lol. But hey thats the funny old game.
How do you back-up your claim? Do you need evidence from someone on the sidelines?
We have all moaned about consistency of refs and committee's so if a team has broken rules by playing an illegal player it should be reported. Sorry if that sounds harsh but Teams have had results overturned and have been thrown out of cups for those kind of offences. It would be grossly unfair to those teams to knowingly let another team get away with it. You break the rules you run the risk.

i personaly spoke to the ref and there manager to make them both aware i knew the player invoved was not signed on. There manager was fairly relaxed about the whole situation claiming that that was a fair enough call and knew what was probably gonna happen. The ref also noticed the player in conection who is well known thru out the leagues was not on the team sheet. We will now have to wait and see what happens.

just to update we have logged a complaint about the player playing. Does anyone no what the outcome of this normally is?
You get to replay the game and they normally receive a points deduction and lose the goals scored against you.
What Raph says is normally correct, there have been occasions where the innocent parties have been awarded a 1-0 win and in Cup competitions the team found to be fielding the illegal player have been thrown out of the cup and the opposition awarded the game.
