Wasn't the greatest game today - the pitch was very boggy and didn't lend itself to a great match of football - but Racing's quality showed through and they deserved the win; playing with 10 men for three quarters of the game after Harbs went off injured. :warn: Sorry son; our coming together was 50/50, there was no malice intended and I hope your recovery will be swift.

Best part of the game? Probably the spread back at our new home in the Windmill pub - cheers guys, we wanna play at home every week now!

Yeah the pitch was terrible but just about playable, Harbs diving in for that 50/50 was pretty daft considering he was already injured from the day before, there was defo no intent Raph - Harbs just came of worse which was always gonna happen in that contest in my opinion! hope you recover quickly mate!
It was our best chance of beating 252 and we almost did it but credit to the 252 lads there quality was clear to see, I hope they go on and win it!
Well pleased with the Windmill after the game, we now call that our home pub and they laid on a quality spread that both teams enjoyed..

Roll on JNE this Sunday!

So what happened did the Italian Raph take a dive aand Harbs get caught under him lol. Anyway have heard that it is ligament damage to Harbs so could be out for a while. Massive blow to Eye!!!

Get Raph out!!lmao

Would never intentionally go out to harm a fellow player in a challenge - especially not a mate! I hope that when the swelling goes down, it's just impact and not ligament damage. (I don't get far enough up the pitch these days to chuck a dive either!). Stop winding it up Harley!

first time i've ever come off a pitch with an injury from another player.
i thought it was a dead leg at first but the second knee cap growing out my leg told me it was slightly worse.
im pretty certain its not just impact unable to walk faster than a 96 year old with one leg at the moment. (no walking aid offered from the hospital, what do i pay so much taxs for again?!) It wasn't intended by Raph he is always firm in his tackles even if they are just as bad as my own sometimes.
Seans right i was told by Tyler to get off the pitch but that would have left us with 10 players and as the league standings mean we cant loose another game this season to stand a chance of winning we neede to progress in the cup!
however they played better with out me so next round it is then.

Sorry to see that happen Lee, It was daft to go for the challenge as you were already struggling but that's your nature, you will always compete. That was our best chance as Sean said, 10 men for a lot of the game and a few of the 252 lads looking very tired in the last 15 mins but fair play they hung on and deserved the win your overall quality told in the end.Harbs I hope for yours, Tyler's and my old mate Gino's sake it's not a long term injury. When it first happened it looked bad and the pain you felt was obvious, I hope now the swelling goes down no serious ligament damage has been done. Look forward to seeing you in March Harbs, did you forget to mention it to me ? All the best to the 252 lads in the cup.P.S. most annoying thing was that our lads made Downing look good, I think i's the first time this season he has kept his dummy in his mouth for 90 minutes.

Agree with all the comments above but the game should not of really been played as the pitch was awful, but we were happy to take the result as we had a very reduced squad which meant Harbs had to play injured and we played 75% of the game with 10 men on a very heavy pitch so everyone was knackered. Nothing wrong with the tackle from Raph at all, but cant see why Harbs made the tackle knowing he was struggling to stand!! (Hope your not in to much pain mate). We now go on to play Deeping in the next round which will be tough but you never know what team will play, but then again its the same with us we have a quality squad but we are struggling with injuries so god knows what team we will have avalible anyway.

Hereward Cup Round 3:

Jubilee NE/ Brewery Tap v Lord Burghley
Deeping Ath v Racing 252
Powerleague v Fratelli/Scarletts
Limetree v Royal Mail/Netherton
