I am reffing this game this weekend, who should win?
Tom, i think this will be a close game fella, my money is with Alconbury. Having just played against them last weekend, they are a very good footballing side and also have a bit of bite about them. Roger is doing a great job and i think Oundle will have there work cut out. Bit of a pain your reffing them and not Pinchbeck - Moulton.
You sure Tom, could have sworn we were at Oundle this Sat? pdfl.org has us away at Oundle and Alconbury away at Long Sutton

My apologies Hyppia you are correct bout Saturday.I have Oundle v Crowland. And that has now earned you a booking Hyppia. See ya Saturday Mate.
As long as you don't send it in!! HAHA, better not start that thread again!!Should be a good game. Was impressed with Oundle at our gaf and have to be honest, we were lucky to get a 1-0 win. 2 sides who like to play a lot of football so hopefully a quiet game for you!! C you Sat when hopefully we earn a hard-fought 3 points and stay on the coat tails of Moulton, Hotpoint and Ortonians and hopefully create a gap between us and Drove
Apologies all, stupid computer froze on me and ended up posting my comments 18 times!!
I of course hope you don't open a gap on Drove, obvious why really. What has happened to Dave Chapman now Hyypia ??

Fixed - although last count was 5..... i think
Aint seen Chappie for a little while Spec, not sure what he's up to. Top bloke, used to get on with him really well. The old boy done well tho, played for Crowland for about 25 years. I think you'll recall he played in the first game against Hotpoint, did a couple of wicked saves to keep us in the game. Was a quality player a few years ago when i first started in Men's footy whilst playing for our Reserves then (back when we had an A side!!). Turned out to be a great keeper as well (shot stopper anyway! a bit too hesitant when coming off his line which i could never get my head round 'cos he would go through a brick wall for the cause when he used to play centre mid or centre back! ) He helped us out early doors in the Prem 'cos our main keeper Donovan was suspended after the first game for 35 days (back when we were playing mid week games on top of Saturdays - great timing Donners!)
Plus we had Ricky Dent who inadvertantly signed the PSL signing on form when he thought he was signing the Lord Westwood form. Then he signed for us and got in hot water (if you know the lad, it was totally innocent.) Ironic thing is that the league or county (not sure who) have said that he cannot play until March!! How harsh is that??!! Players who have got sent off for physical contact with a ref have got a shorter ban!! Something's not right there. :soo:
