Anyone recall EMAP saying their changing rooms got robbed at Bushfield late Oct time?
Well it seems the Police have actually caught the culprits.
It seems the culprits (w*nkers) have been caught for something else, more serious and they have asked for the theft from Bushfield 'to be taken into consideration'.

basically they were caught for something else and they admitted to our theft along the way.
on or about the 18th Jan they will appear at P'Boro Crown Court - the Police couldn't give names or the main trial detials as the toe-rags are protected under data-protection.

Does anyone know how we could find out exactly when this will be trialled? bear in mind the main offence is what will be on record, theft from Bushfield just 'taken into consideration'
We'd like to see if the press (Swanny etc) would go down and name/shame them in the local rag???

Love to get my hands on them :batr:

I wouldn't go jumping to the conclusion, that this means they actually committed that crime, there are various ways of manipulating crime figures " taken other offences into consideration" is the lazy police forces best friend!

wtfamu - I spoke to the police today after receiving a letter from them, they say we can attend the case at the Crown Court, it's just that data protection prevents them from releasing names and exact case details etc.
Basically we need to dig around a little to get the info?

If you have a date of the hearing, then the court will have a record. I.e. The Crown versus . . . w*nkers"

BOTN i hear what you're saying and please don't think im trying to defend anyone.

Here's a hypothetical scenario for you to consider.

A well known burglar gets caught in the act and is beng interviewed, he is informed by plod that if he were to admit simular offences the court would look at that very favourably.

So he admits to say 40 other offences and gets a lighter penalty in court, coincidently the police solve 40 previously unsolved crimes and their figures dont appear to be as woeful as they really are.

Now considering that a fair proportion of these " little rogues" can't remember what they did yesterday do you really think they can remeber 40 seperate incidents, date/time place circumstances etc? or do you think that maybe the police and the criminals have manipulated the system?
