is this for peterborough football as a whole? i think it'd be a shame for all those "wise heads" not to be used to try and help sunday football out of the mire.

JB, didnt put any stipulation as to which league - my own view is that ALL local managers are welcome, can only help to improve general communication within the local football community.

thats good as i feel most of the points already on the agenda would be good steps to start with in sunday footy-especially the last 4 points

I would agree with you JB. Happy new year by the way and RIP PMT FC. If you play with another team at Powerleague, then give me a shout.

Would like to say last night was a great success, sadly I can't:soo:

Disappointing turn out - thanks to those who did make the effort, Benwick, Coates, Stilton, Whittlesey and especially Cambs F.A. who DID send representation. Thanks also to those guys who couldnt make it, due to other committments, but who had the decency to make their apologies, (messers Cooper and Speechley)appreciated guys .

Dont know what the reasons were for such a poor turn out - me, venue, time? Not sure, from the various PM's and messages I recieved I thought we would see more of you guys there - guess I read that particular script incorrectly, maybe need to do more preparation next time!!!

Still believe that this is something worth doing guys, although someone else will need to pick the baton up, however I don't believe in giving up, so I would be more than happy to help, should that be the case.

Big shame mate.

A good iniciative that needed support and for whatever reason didn't get!! A rather local affair with Coates, Whittlesey and Benwick turning out! Fair play to those, Stilton and also the Cambs FA!

After the effort people have put in esp you, always a shame when it doesn't come off!! Top marks for trying to achieve something that needs to be done!!:nwy:

I hope it continues... I would attend in weeks to come but right now (2nd daughter just arrived 2 weeks ago) I can't spare the time.
Gotta say parhaps a note in the Evening Telegraph and also mentions in the sat/sun fa minutes would help PR it a bit more?

Poor turn out. What a shame. Perhaps a lot of things built the problem up. Wrong venue? (too far out of Peterborough for people to travel on a Tuesday), Chelsea on the box (Why that should make a difference I don't know), poorly advertised (only saw it mentioned on this site), people skint after Xmas, Wrong evening but perhaps the best reason is apathy - you won't get the turkeys voting for Xmas. If they have a poor team/injuries etc the bigger (won't say better) teams will nick your players. They want them tomorrow not in 10 days time after 7 day approach, signatures to chase etc, etc.
The P&DFL and PSMFL will always be the losers.
If your going to sort a code of conduct out you need the leagues and the FA's on board so they can make rules to stop the poachers

From one of the few that did attend last night, I would like to show my appreciation to Mick for his grand efforts last night - :grt1: and the others who showed up.

Pity more didn't make the effort - I echo your sentiments Mick, still a worthy cause, let's see where it takes us.

I'm sorry guys I would like to turn up every month / quarter and I am sure my first team manager would to.

I was overseas and only got back last night.

Will definately turn up to the next one.
