I hope everyone had a nice christmas!
So is everyone up for this weekends footie matches then? Harbs hows ya team mates knee. The picture looked awful. I take it you heard about brendan bird. Poor guy. We talked last week about how we'd hope people would be injury free over the chirstmas period. I don't know brendan that much but I know he's been around along time and will be missed loads by leverington football club.
We had a bad game last week end. At the end of the day I'd say langtoft had a fully fit squad of players with all 5 sub possitions filled. We on the other hand had 9 players for the first 30 mins of the match. We started off really well. We missed a few early chances. Langtoft had lots of chances but no one to put the ball in the back of the net. They had a penalty at the end of the first half but failed to convert it to go 1-0 up. Apparently they have missed there last 7 penalties and some one new has taken a penatly every time.
The second half was a totally different half we had lots of chances but only score once and they had about 5 chances and scored 4 of them. Well done to langtoft , they had some good young players on the wings. All though we didn't have a full strength squad we can't use it as an excuse coz other teams struggle for players on other games in the season. So well done langtoft.
This weekend we travel away to eye. Should be an intresting game. Apparently we have a full squad of players going but then again I was told that last week,lol.
So harbs you up for this weekend? Have you got a full first team turning up? I think we will cause you lot some trouble if all our good players turn up. I look forward to trying to beat one of the top team in the division.
