I turned up to this game with self inflicted double vision!
Because of this found myself running the line :soo: only got my self to blame.
However back to the game.... March had the best start and for the 1st 10 minutes and with their pressure came a very good corner and finish to match. Some times for teams its conceeding a goal thatwakes the beast and this is exactly what happened.
Eye had numerous chances and had a goal disallowed before Dean finally broke clear of the defense, and it wasnt too long before number 2-3-and 4 followed! To be fair the first goal we did score i thought was off side but it stood. i would say that after 30 mins of the first half March had completely run out of steam their heads were down and had Eye played a bit more football it could have been a rugby score but they didnt.

The second half kicked off and saw Eye have chance after chance go begging. you have to think had Stilton in recent weeks been in the same position it would be 10 by now.
The game continued with billyour keeper sitting by his post with a hot water bottle in his hands... may tell you some thing there, it wasonly 10 mins in and the ball was slammed home by the March centre half... showing our boys how it was done! shame it was in his own net. 5-1 and the game was to take an unwanted halt!!!
A nothing tackle saw Wes get his boot stuck in the grass and right under my nose his knee cap popped out and moved round the right side of his knee! not a pretty sight at all so take a look for your self at the bottom!
This incident took half hour to sort out i felt bad for Wes as he was wearing my shirt instead of his own SORRY MATE :( and by the time we restarted there was very little light. we continued for 5 mins but the ref called it a day as he could hardly see, thats exactly how i felt for the whole game!
(Funny moment did come when the paramedic was checking to see if Wes had feeling in his right foot before popping the knee back in, the medic was touching the bottom of his foot and said "can you feel that mate?" to which Wes replied "YES AND IM GONNA F-ING TW@ YOU IF YOU KEEP TICKLING MY FOOT!)

So we called it a day at 5-1 with i have been told 23 minutes on the clock.
We wait to see what happens from here.
