if you havent heard i was given the number 13 shirt today and wesley was given my number 7 shirt he was having an excellent game and the poor bugger went and dislocated his knee cap.

it took over half hour to get wes off the field with his dislocated knee and it was practically pitch black
we were winning 5-1 with half ish to go :-/
will have to wait and see what happens wit the remaining time.

Can i jus ask....... wat the hell happened yesterday at manea?? we played manea 2 weeks ago an thought they were onking, weve played stilton away and came away wif a draw but it was hard earned, an we hav not played another team as good as them, i guess the six fingered dyke jumpers dont travel very well or somefin.

I have not been on here for a while but i thought i'd better come on here so it does'nt look like i'm not on because we lost.
Well done Manea a deserved 3 points. We felt in control at 3-2 up with 25 mins to go, not playing well at all but keeping Manea out of our final third for the most part, a slip at the back (literally) let Manea in to equalise and the game changed from that point, the remainder of the game was frantic and not enjoyable to watch. Manea took the lead from a corner and we pushed for the equaliser, 2 goals on the break in quick succession ended the game and our unbeaten run. I can't grumble at all about any aspect of the game, our manager summed it up on the way home 'Manea performed well, we massively under-performed, good hospitality, Job done.' or not done from our point of view.

Once again congratulations Manea looking forward to the return fixture, hopefully we will turn up.

I'm away for a bit now, missing next weeks game, looking forward to the crucial game with Eye, perhaps the new favourites?

Sorry for the dealy on the match report boys that Yido so kindly put me forward to do, you know how it is christmas parties and general beer drinking engangements for this time of year but hear it goes.

This week the boys we're right up for it, as you would suspect, of which you could tell in first ten minutes of the game as we we're right in their faces with a great team work ethic. We had made a point of making sure we gave nothing away early on (easier said than done against quality opposition) but we stuck to the task well. I think stilton may have been a little shell shocked as they seemed to be all at sea during this period and then after about 20mins the important first goal. I picked up the ball on the half-way line beat one man then beat two others then a third got to about 30 yards out and unleashed a bullet that flew into the top corner stanction to the keepers right, the crowd went wild !!!!!!!!!!!


Not quite like that chaps, bit of a scramble on the edge of the box of which i found a yard of space a swung the right foot and luckily enough for me it found the bottom corner 1 nil to the Manea. From hear our confidence sky rocketed, not for long though!!!! This was the kick in the arse they needed, their class now came alive and began to cause us big problems of which sure enough produced the equaliser. Again like our opener very scrappy with Teflon fingers (our goalkeeper, and my bro) deciding to gift their left winger with a clear strike about five yards out 1-1. Stilton then still began to push and the game was getting open.

We were then awarded a free kick about 25yards out near the corner of the box type area. We filled the box and waited for Yido to put a decent ball in for once, he floated one in but it was nowhere near us and heading straight for goal,the next thing i know is everyone is running away celebrating, how it went in i don't know but who cares 2 - 1. As we all know you have to be fully focused after scoring as this is one of your most venerable times, we must have forgotten this as within a minute 2 -2, terrible defending and they are back in it. Another couple of minutes passed and Stilton we're more than back in it, they in front, even poorer defending at a corner and now we are loosing, how can this be??????? The half time whistle is blown we are gutted, we had done real well Stilton probably not at their best but they are winning.

The second half begun and i think you could sense that the next goal was so important and everyone around the pitch were feeling the worst for us, if the truth be told and being the most mature (oldest git by along way) i felt this may be going horribly wrong as if Stilton score i don't think there's any way back and the way they started i didn't look very good either, Bainsey (Mark) took over and controlled the game for the first 10-15 mins, we were on the back foot. Credit to the boys though as we held firm and bainsey wasn't getting too much help, then against the run of play Christina (Dave Anguilara or something like that!!) broke clear after a defensive mistake quite a long way out, carried on his run a slotted home the equaliser, we are back in the game. The game then evened out a bit with there class being matched with our work rate. Then the big moment that Stilton never recovered from. We get a corner and at the back post Shep is unmarked and there you have 4 - 3.

Our boys are now on cloud nine and buzzing everywhere, Stilton then obviously pushing hard for the equaliser left themselves a bit open leaving Yido to slot a neat finish past the outrushing keeper, 5 - 3 can't beleive it. You could see that this had hit Stilton hard and then it was all over with another quaility finish(volleyfrom the edge of the box) from Yido for his hat-trick. The ref then finished the game and of course our boys went crazy, great result.

A good game played in good spirit and i'm sure it would have been good to watch. Stilton will no doubt boune back as they are quality, and we just have to keep our feet on the ground and not get to carried away with this result as football has a wonderful way of coming back and bitting you in the arse, hence thereis no need for gloating (Fen tiger, you will learn there is always somebody out better my old son).

Very good mate, wish i was there to watch it.
i tet Bainer straight after the game and he said you guys played well and it was many mistakes that punished them.
that really has made this an interesting league guys.
its so tight no one will want to slip up but looks like War boys are invinsible and the only ones that KNOW they wont loose a game.
