View Full Version : well done whittlesey!!!
well done to lee and all the lads down at whittlesey ,
what a fantastic result . hopefully u can build on this and get a few wins under your belt, and then plan ahead for next year. plus you've showed that whittlesey on there day can beat anyone in this league.
who knows , whittlesey champions next year ????

Any post match analysis from either side? Lozzaman - what's your opinion on Saturday's result?
Poor Moulton performance or excellent Whittlesey performance? or a bit of both? Or did Whittlesey merely take all the chances they got and Moulton squandered all of theirs?

Iagree with George think Whittlesey can if they put theremind to it and a certain player worried about football and not trying to fight everybody,no names mentioned.
Firstly well played to whittlesey and can't have many complaints about the result (only real one is that we felt we scored 2 perfectly good goals before whittlesey scored).
A poor defensive display from us in the first half was the main factor we feel, although whittlesey played well and took their chances well.
We played a lot better in the second half but wouldn't have scored if we'd still been there now, throughout the team we missed enough chances to win 3 games.
All in all don't feel there is too much wrong and looking forward to trying to put things right on saturday although it will be another very tough game.

George, as said some time ago rumours of our demise were greatly exaggerated. Losing the players we did didnt help, as you well know :nwy: although losing Rickster for a while probably hurt more!!!
Things are in place off the field, sponsors, training kits, tracksuits etc and most importantly an injury insurance which the players dont have to pay for!!!
Lee knows his stuff and what he wants from the 1st team, its now down to me to get more home grown youngsters coming through from the reserves to support his plans. It will take time, the reserve side are having a tough time, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, although next year will show that up better.
I was very impressed with the Hotpoint set up, the 1st teams strength is well doumented but you have a good reserve side (apart from a couple of cry babies :bby: ) - look forward to welcoming them back to Whittlesey on Saturday!! enjoy the rest of your season mate - catch you for a beer soon.

Sorry about the delay, as well as a poor performance, injury seems to be taking its toll at the moment, we had 4main mid-fielders out saturday against pinchbeck and managed to win, just think its gonna take time for the team to realise that points really are gonna have to be fought for now!
