For those who like the odd game of spoof, this xmas is the sixth National Spoof Championships (a bit of a grand title, but hey).

There are two, one on Boxing Day in the Carpenter's Arms, Stanground (Raggy doesn't travel well). This is more of an informal affair with entrance 10 pounds. 5pm for a 6pm start.

The main event is on Saturday, 29th December in the Prince of Wales in Castor. The entrance for this is 20 pounds. The format is knock out, although should numbers prevail the format is group based followed by a final knock out round. Again, 5pm for a 6pm start.

Last year's winner took away the coveted Spoof Cup and over 250 quid in prize money.

Everyone is more than welcome. Come on Al, Spec, Tommy, start polishing those coins. All games are played on concrete floors before you ask !

I like the concrete floor bit Tim!! What a great idea but I am away from Xmas day onwards mate until the 3rd Jan. Off to Lapland for a well deserved break, I am 40 now and need to know either way if the great man exists or if it is a myth, I will willingly sponsor TommyC though if he can make it (he's a right cagey fcuka):whs:
