Rather than using the quick reply box, click add reply and they are there. Or if you click on http://www.peterboroughsportstalk.co.uk/forum/misc.php?do=getsmilies&editorid=vB_Editor_001 <----------- that, they are there aswell

All of the original smilies are there, aswell as the standard ones that come with the VB install. If you click more, you will get them all

I clicked ADD REPLY and didn't see any smilies ..... then again, I'm new to all this !!!

Hmmmm, i can see them fine. So theres no reason why you shouldnt be able to. Try this, go into your user CP, then click on edit options. Somewhere near the bottom you will see editor type, change that to full WYSIWYG editor. Thats what i use. It may not make a difference, but let me know, it may have something to do with permissions if that doesnt work. They dont appear by the quick reply box, so you do have to click add reply, and they should appear right next to the text box. There will probably be 15 or so there, so you will need to click on more to see them all

How do you do a poll? I ticked the box and changed the poll options bit but when i previewed it there was not a poll?

Aha ...... there they are !!!

Seems nobody will see the smilies unless they click on USER CP, then EDIT OPTIONS and then scroll down to the bottom box and change it to ADVANCED (WYSIWYG).

Polls, i believe will only appear when you actually post, and not preview

For some reason, when i imported the users, it automatically subscribes you to threads, and doesnt give you the full WYSIWYG editor

Have you got the WYSIWYG editor enabled? They should appear both when you type and after you post

If i get time, which will probably be on saturday, i will have a proper look into this, and go about changing all 300+ users options for them, if it hasnt already been done

Solved that problem now, all the smilies i imported from the old forum, wouldnt display properly. But now they do

Also, i have gone ahead and changed all your profiles so that you all have the enhanced - WYSIWYG editor.

Hope that makes your lives easier
