With 2 games in hand on netherton, who were sitting in 4th place going into this fixture, while we was sitting in a lowly 9th place, but only 2 points behind them, and our confidence on a high after 2 back to back wins, i was expecting a great game of football with us coming away with the 3 points.

Unfortunately we didnt get the 3 points ( we had to settle for 1 ) but what a great game to be part of.

We went 0 - 1 down after 30 seconds into the game, after a soft free kick was given on the edge of our area, the ball was played in and there unmarked forward ghosted in to put it in the back of the net. May have been the kick up the :mnn: we needed to make sure we actually played in this game...few minutes later jo deboo gets on the end of milne's cross to put us level only for it to be ruled out for offside. We keep on pressing for the equaliser and a few minutes leter we should have had a penalty with what was a clear handball ( even al see it from psl 1st teams game  ), no penalty. Eventually our pressure pays off from a corner which fergy nods past there keeper 1-1. Psl continue to pressure and eventually take the lead through jo deboo, shortly after debbo fires psl into a 2-1 lead, psl get a corner from which shane milne scores directly to take us into half time 3-1 up.

2nd half gets underway n within minutes netherton are back in the game, themselves scoring direct from a corner. Dodgey and poor refering in the 2nd half stopped this game from flowing, along with moaning n whinning players from both teams....eventually lungay breaks free n makes it 4-2 psl...game over!!! ...not a fcuking chance...as we always do we switch off and defend to deep allowing netherton to much time n possesion on the ball and with only 9 minutes to go we concede 2 very weak goals...game over 4-4....

It was good to see ron again, running up n down the touchline line like a looney, felt we should have won the game easily but in the end was happy to take a point.

4-4 Good stuff for a neutral Jimmy! We lost 5-1 in the end to Warboys 2-0 down in first 10mins (Goalkeeping errors) for 70minutes after that we made a game of it and scoring that was until the last 10minutes when the fitness told and we went to pot conceeding a quick 3 to give them a flattering 5-1 win.

Mark Boucher is a very good player and was the difference between the two sides on the day. Think Warboys have Stilton now in the Semi-Finals (what a game that is set to be!) - all the best to everyone left in the cup!

Unlucky Lee, my bro was right they are a good side these days and have improved alot over the last few years, cant see them beating Stilton though.

It was a good fair game to be involved in, the only thing that really let it down was yet another poor display from a ref, i honestly think they just let anyone qualify these days just to make the numbers up. Looked a definite pen and Deboos goal was no where near offside considering he only jus managed to beat a defender to the ball (who was goalside).

We still played some good footy first half and deserved our lead after coming from behind. Second half was a different story and this time Netherton were on the end of further dodgy decisions from the ref. Crazy Ron (manager) Seddon was hilarious on the sidelines with comments to there players such as 'Humiliate them!' Thankfully none of the Netherton players whipped our shorts down and bummed us, but they did get better.

It's a game we should have won after going 4-2 up but only have ourselves to blame...again, our defending as a TEAM seems to be letting us down week after week and Nethrton were unlucky not to win it at the end.
