Dont think anyone could work way that ****!!!!
Now McClaren has gone, which was the first decent decision the FA have made in a while. But i want to know how long the top brass at Soho Square can get away with poor decision after poor decision, if the mistakes that have been made with everything from grass roots football upto the choice of the England manager, had happened at any other company, the guys at the top would be held accountable. This is where the changes need to be made in order to get some meaningful change throughout the English game.
In my opinion.
Which means nothing.
get harry redknapp in! we need to get back to basics and tradition which harry will bring.
for a start the f-ing players are paid enough damn money to get it right on the pitch.
i would love to see jose in but if that happens it willbe too much of a miracle and lets be honest he isnt going to want to wait 2 years before our next meaningful match now is he.
god this is going to be a **** 2008!!!!
I remember when the England managers job was one of the most lucrative jobs in world football, now we have managers queing up to rule themselves out of the job.
The sad thing is that i don't blame anyone who doesn't want the job, if you were Mourinho,O'neil etc, would you want to have to justify yourself to the fools who run the F.A.

i agree the players were good enough but when good players have so many poor performances and dont get dropped then the blame clearly lies with the manager for either not having the balls to drop them/change the team, or he's to thick to! i'll go with both!
Have to agree wiv gazza - get rid of the so called top brass and then rebuild from there...as much of a good manager that mr mourinho is i honestly dont agree with a foreign manager taking charge of ' OUR ' national side!! Lets be honest if you was a true countryman would your heart be fully in the job to manage a different country and see them be ahead of your country in the FIFA World rankings etc or imagine if you was mourinho your beloved country ( portugal ) was playing england in the world cup final that you would really want england to win, i think not...It has 2 be a english manager, bring in harry redknapp
i do agree with what your saying but football is so polictical now that its more of an occupation than ever before so wether or not you are English they pick managers on world credibility rater than who this nation knows would do a job from the heart, it kind of reminds me of my previous employers :)
ratherthan listen to the people tat know whats what they listen to the people that have big titles but dont actually do the job.
