Having had to take a torrent of abuse the last 4 days i cant say i am not exceptionaly happy that England are out of the Euro Champs,
Mr Flynn i cant wait to see your smile on the other side of your face now and to think the backdoor was left wide open for you and you still could not get in. :gun:
Mick well i dont need to say anything to you as i no the 1st thought you had when that 3rd goal went in was "ME"
Its a wonderfull thing Karma and i am sooooooo looking forward to work today its gonna be great!!
Next time maybe you will all hold on that trigger before you go spouting your mouth off!!!!
Cant believe Christmas came this early for me :snt: now Macca were are you cause i think we both deserve a drink!!

Difference is sweaty that I think you will find, as always, it was YOU who did the initial spouting :soo: - and unlike you and your sob stories and bleatings about referrees, etc - I am quite able to say we have NO excuses we were simply awful and didn't deserve to win or qualify - simple as that
Oh and by the way we began a collection to get you repatriated, as you love Sweatland, oops sorry Scotland so much, we only started in the club last night, but knowing as you do how much the lads love you, you wont be surprised to hear that we already have enough to send you back my little "Braveheart" so get your passport ready

 knew it wouldnt be long before you had some kind of bite.!!
I would rather have had our record the past 20 years than you lot Shaun and if you think you have turned the corner because of a near qualification I think you are in for a shock, we didn't qualify because we have poor players, we failed because we have a s**t manager, you have both and it ain't ever going to change

Shaun, when i said about the backdoor being open i meant the missus  Anyway its the taking part that counts not the winning  Ive seen games called off with pitches better than that  should never have been played!
Pitch was fine until the Stadium let American Football be played there for the first time in its history, you could still see the markings on the pitch - another bad decision! But, guess something has to pay for the stadiums debt. Error after error!
Is no excuse for the football and our over-rated players that were on display last night!
Doe's this open the age old debate of to many foreigners in our teams? Cus even if it does the Premier League aint guna want to change that are they? :soo:
that american footy game was 3 'kin weeks ago! they used to lay a new pitch and have it ready to play on in the millenium stadium in about 10 days so we're now being put to shame by the bloody welsh!
but at the end of the day both teams had to play on the same pitch.
Tommy, have you been diallingaflood.com again :bst:

Explain to me what you have won in the past 20 years spec cause i am pretty sure that its the same as us!! Nothing. :stpd:
So your record is no better really is it!! Just your big ego that all.
Mick sorry not at training tonight was working till 8.30pm hopefully next week
Nice to see all the excuses coming out tho lads. Oh i am loving evry minute of your pain!!!
We haven't won anything but at least we have competed, qualified and got through to quarter finals and semi finals and if we could take penalties we would have got to a final here and there, Scotland have been a laughing stock for the past 4 years at least.
You think by nearly qualifying (and the only reason you nearly qualified was because the Italians and French are renowned slow starters who were just toying with you anyway until they had to step up a gear) that everything in the garden is rosy, If they bring back the home internationals next year which looks more likely every week then I will personally take you to England v Scotland and if we don't beat you by 2 goals or more I will keep you out all night, buy your drinks all night and pay for the whole trip as well, should we beat you by more than 2 goals I will expect the same in return.
Put your money where your mouth is *brk*

Sorry you couldnt make training Sweaty - only 24 there last night, and funnily enough they all wanted to play against you.....
and I think you need to get along to the quack mate, cos you are definately suffering some sort of short term memory loss methinks, look back at the thread to jog your little memory, it was you coming out with the excuses etc, as per usual :blh: :blh: :blh: - as I said I don't have any we were ****e - However as Spec quite rightly points out we will eventually put it right, simply because we can - you on the other hand have to accept mediocrity, because for you, it doesnt get better, and thereby lies the difference, you as a nation, happily accept failure, we cannot....
Mind you at least on a personal level you have realised this and married a nice English girl who has at least made a difference to you - who would believe a Sweaty actually accepting a bet that he is cetain to lose and therefore having to part with hard currency - my my- that neice of mine is a good girl.... :wed:
Shaun, football comes before family, I hope the game doesn't clash with your family holiday 'cos crying kids will annoy you, well they will annoy your misses 'cos you will be out with me

Spec i used to agree with you but now family always 1st even if the missis dont think so. We will wait and see if the home nations do come around as i think there might be more than me and you wanting to go to the game so it could be quite interesting.
Oh and Mick dont kid yourself we dont accept failure but we also accept that we are not the best team in the world or like to think we are so we must be realistic.
But then again we are only 2 places behind you boys in the fifa rankings and stats dont lie. see you now 2nd seeds just like us for sundays draw!!
Macca, you can't be looking to join in the trip. We can never get you out in Peterborough !!!!! How's it going ?

hey mate - I know McClaren has to kick start his career again, but I doubt he would want to start at the very bottom, by taking on the Sweaties

Well i must say i am dissapointed that big Eck has gone but i wish him well with Birmingham. He done a fantastic job and has left the team with some much needed pride back. Not to sure who the Fa will get to fill his boots but would like to think that the job has some more appeal about it. At least they will have the press and fans on there side for a start.
Would love to see Ferguson there but dont think he would be willing to leave Utd just yet.
Your present manager leaves to manage BIRMINGHAM CITY and you would like Sir Alex Ferguson to take over, working on the last managers priorities that seems to be a very very backward step, I think there's more chance of Bill Shankly taking the job (God rest his precious soul) Well I hope you have more success finding a replacement than England.
McClaren to Scotland, hahaha!
Would love to see Ferguson there but dont think he would be willing to leave Utd just yet.
no chance, darren ferguson is already at a much bigger club!

well mick i think it all boils down to money, but good luck to him. billy davies can step in and fill the gap.
we have plenty of good scottish managers out there but hes available i say give him the chance
Macca don't you think that the fact that "its all down to money" is precisely what is screwing football up. even at local levels if you believe half of what you read on this forum. Nationally the fact that some player's wages are absolutely obscene and other players set that as their goal leads to players priorities being totally wrong. What should be the pinnacle of any footballers career ? It used to be representing his country. The absolute pinnacle used to be to win the World Cup with your country. Today though the European League Championship appears to be the ultimate goal. Players seem to look at the over-paid, over rated so-called superstars and decide that is their aim. They seem to have lost national pride and when the majority of club mamagers are not English then of course they will want to put clubs first, why should they bve bothered about England and Englishmen, after all they only pay their over-inflated wages to match their over inflated egos. Rant over. :blh:
Káká is the example that all footballer should be following. Play football for love, with a smile on your face and without malice. He donates a huge amount of his salary to youth projects and Christian foundations. That's the image that footballers should portray.
When Damiano Tomassi (one with big perm) got a lengthy injury for Roma, he cut his own salary down to that of a youth apprentice until he was fit enough to make an appearance for their first team again . . . nearly two seasons in total.
Priorities are all wrong now.

your right mick, but society in a whole has changed were everyone is after the quick pound and for little effort. the point that you make about local football as well is true. money for players who are not interested in the team or the manager, how many people have had there fingers bitten off by player whos offered money & then played a few games & then f#cked off to another team.

guys lets be honest on this subject everyone is after a quick buck, footballers are just high profile thats all.
And football managers of course
