Im so chuffed, in injury time as well. And as much as i detest the Italian football team i was pleased they won.Always difficult to beat but all that diving about over the years put me right off them.So happy holidays to Scotland and good luck to England on Wednesday. You cant beat sneaking in the back door

Tommy i am only happy to hold my hands up when a team is fairly beating, but in this case i am not going to be holding my hands up. The officials played a massive part in this result( which i no you boys no about very well ) and as for the Italians, well world champs they are at diving. But i have had a fantastic time with this group and as a nation have taken massive strides in repairing our pride. We were never given a prayer at the start so to have taken both Italy and France as far as we did is a testiment to how far we have come with the current group of players. Although at least ourheart ache is over now yours will come in 8 mths time!!

i watched the game the scotland goal was off side and italys goal was on side so it shoulf have been all over way before the 91st minute!!

yes, there 2nd goal should have stood. but like tommy said they were diving all over the place & how they get away with it is beyond me!
Fergusons goal was offside so im not going to moan to much about the terrible decition. I was more upset about mcfaddens miss with 10 minutes to go, couldnt sleep thinking about it.

i am so proud though its not often we can say scotland should have come away from playing italy deserving a win

come on the tartan army boys

I see you are missing the handball by Zambrota which prevented us from a clear goal scoring oppertunity Harbs which would have resulted in a red card had it been given. So if if you wanna go down that route then really the game would have not been over before the 91st minute!!

you gotta get some new material sweaty - and while your at it better get an extra large pair of shorts, I saw you at training Thursday, and boy has your arse got BIG since I last saw you play - as usual you engage your mouth before thinking, football predicitions never were one of your strong points and yet again you spouted off too early - but then again you do have that little problem don't ya sunshine.....

Shaun my boy - looking the way you do, you would have nothing to fear unless I was into beastiality, and then that would be cruelty to dumb animals  - you are getting rather brave and mouthy in your old age my son, methinks I will have a little chat with my sister ( thats your Mum- in- Law you schmuk!) and no doubt she will have a few words in your shell-like in the not too distant.....

As for the training, thats just friendly rivalry mate - spot of healthy competition for places etc etc.....

Can't quite make my mind up if im pleased at Scotlands demise on Saturday.

On one hand it's great that we wont have to listen to the cr#p that would have come out if they had qualified and we had not.

On the other i was looking forward to the prospect of the resurection of the home internationals, so if we do manage to f"*k up on Wednesday at least we can console ourselves with the knowledge that come next summer we will have the oppurtunity to show Scotland the superiority of our football!
