Why again for the umpteenth year, no local fixtures until Jan 7th? :gun: SHOCKING

Not sure for the reason it was changed but originally we had a game Xmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Was it clubs' decisions to cancel these games or the League's?

My understanding was that a number of clubs complained that in turn led to the league aborting the idea for fixtures at Xmas. I agree with Tommy Flynn though it would have been nice to have had some games. Never mind. Have a good Christmas all.
