i was checking out the results and was looking at the pdfl website.
i was amazed that you can see the fines given out monthly on there! WOW how many clubs get fined every month for not ticking a box here and there or rating the ref or even ticking the subs box.
its normally £10-20 every time you make an admin error and there must be like £11-1200 for 3 months errors!

anyone else seen this?

Yes mate - have seen the latest fines, no comment other than to say I think its harsh when a team get fined twice for what to me is the same instance - example Crowland A getting £10 for not putting there own scorers down and a further £10 for not putting their opponents scorers down - surely this could be seen as two instances of the same rule being broken :sad:

magicman if you just click the on one of the menues at the top on the pdfl site it will take you to it not sure which one as was just by fluke i came accross it but wow, a few hundred quid in fines EVERY week from clubs just for geneal mistakes, and you gotta feel for the self funding clubs because £10-20 here and there is a lot of money.
i know its clearly in the rules but maybe the fines should be reduced and only increased for cerial offenders as i can understand who ever does the results for the pdfl has enough on their plate but its a lot of money for nothing really.

i think it's the only way the league can keep itself financed Harbs, it's a right pain in the asre for managers /secretary's etc but i suppose everyone knows the crack at the start of the year. My secratary forwards me the minutes of the monthly pdfl commitee meeting and for October it was £350 for those sort of items. The majority were "no telephone call for result" £10 and "sub or goalscorer not ticked" £10. It's £20 if you forget to tick the goalscorerers or sign the result sheet!!! there was a few of them as well. Nightmare !!!!!

absolutely dont get me wrong i understand its to make sure things are kept in good order etc, but take eye for axample self funding club all the money we have comes out club men players and supporters pockets and to see £20 of that have to be given away because you forgot to put the lino's name is a bit harsh however im all for rules i just think maybe if your a repeat offender these sort of fines are fair enough but if you forget to do it once or twice a season should you really be penalised?
i know from previous chats there is cash in abundance for the league and now i know where it came from lol.
