Today was our chance to put right our poor performance away at Wimblington a few weeks ago...but it didn't happen.

Right from the start again we didn't get going. We allowed a forward to run straight through the defence and get onto a ball over the top and score. We just couldn't get ourselves sorted and before we knew it we were 2-0 down at half time. Poor defending :slp: as team allowed them to keep coming at us.

After changing from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2 in the second half we started getting back into the game. Winning headers and tackles and putting them under pressure. A good ball forward from Scatters at the back put Fergie through in the middle to finish well and get us a goal back. If we kept going we could have got something from the game but we stopped, thinking it was going to be easy. Wimblington stepped up their game and we were punished by conceeding another sloppy goal. PSL pushed forward but got frustrated by not being able to convert the chances we created. The game got a bit physical with a few questionable challenges but fair play to the ref he put a stop to it straight away.

Finishing 3-1 to Wimblington, I'm not surprised some players have had enough. The same players every week working their bollocks off. The attitude of some people must improve cuz its not good enough letting the other lads down. :bby: It seems we only want to play football for 15/20 mins per game when its already to late.

Got some tough games coming up and we really need to buck our ideas up.

Spot on Braggs.

I played even though i probably should not have yesterday, due to reasons i wont go in too, simply because i want to play, want to win and enjou the game with my mates, currently achieving none of this.

The attitude of a lot (NOT ALL) of our players stinks and i am starting to wonder why i bother.

Should not be downheated Wimblington had a few first teamers in the side and two of them scored

Our main problem is that we believe we should be up near the top of the table. Yet we can't perform regularly enough to warrant even thinking about getting promoted.

Braggs - think we can forget winning the fcuking league & forget winning promotion this season - why?? cos we simply not good enough!!!

We have to concentrate our efforts on the PFA cup now and hope we get something from that & pray we can get some good results in the league...you cant win games with only half a team giving a toss n the other half just turning up cos they feel they have too.

We were players mising saturday as we always seems to be, n thats no excuse!!!

don't be so hard on yourselaves boys, its a tough season for both 1st and 2nd teams, i havn't helped matter by pinching 4 of your better players. with these players in your team i believe you would be up near the top of combi 2.

stick it out lads i promise things will improve for both teams.

have to say that Jimmy has been a godsend for me as without him i wouldn't have a team each week. reserve teams will always stuggle if they get mugged for players by their 1st team. need must.

Nice one Al...never gonna here the end of it from them 2 now!

Your right, 3/4 players going to the first team may have made a difference, but there is still enough quality in the team (i think  ) to be getting better results, some players simply are not putting in the performances/effort that they can and should be.

Thanks Al, just gets frustrating sometimes cuz we still have good enough players, :blh: I could go on for ages!

Slim...you may have been all over us but that was the worst we have played for ages, not bad that in the last 19 games we have won 16 and drawn 3! You should thank your keeper, my shot was going like a missile to the top corner!

Thanks Al - but with the players we have, regardless of whether some have gone to 1st team, we should still be performing much better than what we are, it will come right i am sure of that cos i hate losing. It's just a shame that some players dont put in the effort like other players do. I desperatley need a centre back!!
