Mccains Fc 1 - 9 Jubilee North End expected
Netherton Fc 1 - 3 Fratelli bit of a shock but netherton have had a few dodgy results so far this season
Parkside Fc 4 - 2 Lord Westwood i'm absolutely stunned at this one! surely the westwood didn't have a full team.
Racing 252 2 - 3 Powerleague Fc not as much of a shock as the others but racing should've had too much for powerleague.

probably the prems most unusual set of results in a long while!

Welcome back harbs !! Will buy you lunch soon if you abuse me less

All our rivals (with westwood the main one as you know playing for us last year) but at the beginning of the season I would have said you 3 but will not discount Burghley who have a good team!!

We keep pluggin away and as I've said before if we are there at xmas with Jamie back we will be very difficult to beat!!

thought, i'd come back with a spring in my step :)
seemed a bit quiet over the last week.
yesterday was a sureal day for everyone but jube!
racing lost because we spent too much time telling ourselves how good we are instead of playing football.
cruising at 2-0 until a beast of a shot left bc standing and then powerleague had a point to proove after watto said there is no way theu can beat us when him and Mr Kaye are at centre back( which he was just messing about but 10 mins afte the comment we were loosing!
im royaly aching from all this football.
And unless the whole team shakes its self and starts playing football this will be my last season on a Sunday morning. im not getting up hung over to play 1/2 hearted football.... all you fishermen out there i have left it wide open with that comment hey.

The parkside v l Westwood game was played next to ours at Bushfields yesterday, Parkside scored 2 cracking goals from what I saw of it and it looked a very good game... Well done to the Parkside lads who really looked up for it!
Prem wide open again?

As for McCains - I hear they had 9 or 10 men ? thats shocking for a prem game! no wonder the Jube boys filled their boots.

We played out a really tough 2-2 with the Yaxley New Shoes, I'm sure if they field the same squad all season they'll finish at least top half as they had a few quality lads... 2-2 was about right but with a bit of luck we could have sneaked the win - open goal missed from a tight angle and their keeper made a couple of great saves!

to many injured players and no shows, (well thats sunday footy), parkside were worthy winners no complaints here.

Only saw the last few minutes, saw the last Parkside goal, didn't see you Al otherwise I would have had a chat. Spoke to Malc and his missus, they seem to think they deserved it. Saw Skerrit, Bradley, Joe, Billy, no Ben though. Shame really it needs someone to challenge Jubilee and I thought Westeood might do it this year. Still not over though, Lord Burley, Netherton, 252 and Westwood could all still have a big say who wins the title despite this Week-ends results. As for McCains only fielding 10, nothing new to the Prem, as Macca has already stated, I know McCains like a lot of teams have injury problems. In the not so distant past even some of the top teams struggled to field a side and subs.

Having seen you play against Perkins a couple of seasons ago I could believe that Al, Perhaps my old mate Gino might turn out too.

Did you play nipper or did the injury that forced you off at half time against PSL prevent you from turning out?

Nipper

Of course I played......I have to set the "minimum" standard required by all the players every week!!

Dont you just hate those sudden injuries you pick up while in the changing room at half time!!!???

Why?? Apparently, down at PSL they have had a lot of players being taken by UCL clubs, apparently, so he didnt want to over expose me to the media present and create a January transfer window frenzy!!!! Thats the reason I was given but personally I think its plain jealousy-I have lovely golden hair-he does not!
