McCains v JNE 2 - 6 (JNE seem to be hitting form so dont think McCains will put up much resistence)
Netherton v Fratelli 1 - 1 (Netherton been poor as of late and Frateelis could snatch a draw if not the win)
Parkside v Lord Westwood 0 - 4 (Same a JNE,Westwood seem to be on form so could be a case of by how many)
Racing 252 v Powerleague 3 - 1 (Unless Powerleague have improved dramatically since last time can see us winning. But if we lose it will be down to Watto's lack of finishing or Downing walking off the pitch in a huff again the little baby!!)
Brewery Tap v Limetree 2 - 5
Farcet United v Scarletts Fc 2 - 4
New Shoes v Emap Fc 0 - 3
Premier Decorators Fc v Royal Mail Ayl 2 - 8
Good Luck All!!!
Downing spitting the dummy out ? It can't be true Nipper !!!!!! And yet he looked so proud in the paper the other night. By the look on his face I thought he was going to kiss Gary !
Mcains could hardly have put up any resistance they only had 9 men
Just wasted nearly an hour to go and watch JNE and Mcains at Thorney, left after 10 minutes and come into work, what a joke, who turns up with 9 men to play Premier football, it was 4-1 when I left and probably finished 8. Think I might take up fishing :bst:

thats why i gave in spec, last time i played sunday morning football 3 seasons ago with nags head & we must have played 5 or 6 games in the prem against 10 9 & even 1 against 8 men.
it was pointless, the big games against royal oak & north end both teams struggled to get full sqauds. too much of a drink culture in peterborough were young lads cant be arsed to get out of bed after a drink binge the night before

A few tasty games this Sunday.... Predictions lads?
Fratelli v Lord Burghley 3-2 (depends what side Burghely bring but Frattelli to nick it)
Jubilee North End v Parkside Fc 2-2 (Parkside to maybe carry their form from last Sunday into this and scrape a tough draw?)
Lord Westwood v Mccains Fc 6-1 (Westwood to bounce back)
Powerleague Fc v Woodston Dynamos Seniors 1-1 (low scoring affair I reckon)
Racing 252 v Netherton Fc 2-5 (tough to call, could go either way delending on who turns up, I'll go with Rons lads to get the double over 252 in a rough game!)
Div 1
Emap Fc v Deeping Athletic 4-2 (tough game for us, depend what team the Deeping lad field!)
Limetree v New Shoes 2-1 (Limetree to nick it just, both decent sides if on form)
Protelo Fc v Brewery Tap 1-6 (B Tap too much firepower for the Protelo lads)
Royal Mail Ayl v Scarletts Fc 5-5 (could be anything, Scarletts bang on form but Mail a solid side, I'll go for a high scoring draw)
YES - I am alive!
Fratelli v Lord Burghley 2-2
Jubilee North End v Parkside Fc 4-2
Lord Westwood v Mccains Fc 3-0
Powerleague Fc v Woodston Dynamos Seniors 2-1
Racing 252 v Netherton Fc 3-3
Div 1
Emap Fc v Deeping Athletic 3-2
Limetree v New Shoes 1-1
Protelo Fc v Brewery Tap 2-3
Royal Mail Ayl v Scarletts Fc 2-4
Can't wait until I am finally back next week - will EMAP and Castor's results improve with me playing? I doubt it!

Dont have much to do with sunday footy anymore, but will have a bash at the predictions:
Fratelli v Lord Burghley 2-4
Jubilee North End v Parkside Fc 5-0
Lord Westwood v Mccains Fc 4-1
Powerleague Fc v Woodston Dynamos Seniors 0-1
Racing 252 v Netherton Fc 2-1
Div 1
Emap Fc v Deeping Athletic 2-1
Limetree v New Shoes 3-1
Protelo Fc v Brewery Tap 0-2
Royal Mail Ayl v Scarletts Fc 2-2
Raph - it won't make a difference to either team you being back, you prob only be there couple games before you get a silly sending off n end up being banned AGAIN
No Mr Brattan. I have been having behavioural training from AK 11, Wisbech Teams and PIS. So will behave from now on.

I'll lay 33/1 there's no score in the EMAP v Deeping fixture this Sunday... to any money you like!
revised R Mail v Scarletts score also - R Mail 5 Scarletts 2 (just heard the Scarletts boys are out on the lash all day Sat...
has it been called off ??

yes it has... I now have a footy free weekend so the Pub beckons..
(That's code for: getting dragged around the shops by my wife and daughter and then doing chores around the house )
I predict that there will be no score in the Protelo vs EMAP match this Sunday, Will Royal Mail get a game ? will Mcains raise a side, will Harbs last 90 mins or even longer than Downing, How many refs will we be short of ? So many questions.By the way just to let the Mail and Scarletts lads who were all changed and ready for a game last Sunday, Reg Parker had the Westwood vs McCains match so therefore ended up without a game to ref, you have to laugh don't you
i could've worked and got about £300-£400 but declined it due to our big fixture(in terms of importance probably the biggest of all the sunday games!). will the league reimburse me for loss of earnings? will they fcuk! will the league compensate each team? will they fcuk! if either team had caused the game to not go ahead would they be financially punished? you bet your life they would! fair? i dont think so!
and even funnier than that mick our ref was nicked for a nhants cup game at bretton woods, yes you guessed it where reg was to be reffing the westwood game. why wasn't reg given the nhants cup games and we keep our ref? oh yeah thats right that would be too simple and logical. to say we're all p1ssed off would be and understatement! :ang:

If thats right then it's not right is it (you know what I mean).!!!
Did reg end up NOT reffing a game then?
Our side are without a game again this weekend after Protelo cancelled this week, we play McCains in the cup next week also - will they field a side or will we go 4 weeks without a game???
I now have 15 - 20 lads really ****ed off with it all now and I cant blame em!
Why didn't we go with the idea of resting 1 league every week?
That would have eased the ref problem no end and at least you'd know which weekend you had off months in advance so no-one loses out...
JB, last week I had 3 lads who'd actually booked holiday from work to play, game was cancelled (no ref)... I now risk losing them if this continues.
No doubt I'll be slated as I'm actually co-opted onto the committee now but these things need discussing and I for one will be raising them at the next meeting - I dont have voting rights though so can't really do much other than actually discuss it, which I will do.
To be fair this problem was identified prior to the AGM and solutions/help were offered but it was ignored/refused by the people in charge back then - However they are now gone and I really do feel the new people in charge WILL get it right if given the time and support they really need...
Bear with it for a short time to at least give em a chance to fix things lads?
i understand that cock ups can happen but my point is if the league/ref are at fault nobody is punished for it yet when a club either turns up short of players or cancels a game at short notice they're financially punished which is a just as big problem IMO. we've seen from the pdfl site how much are going into their coffers and i'm sure the psmfl are not that far behind so how about compensating let down teams with free matchballs/pitch fees etc?
Think this has been covered boys but agree with JB!!
What should happen is that the league should cover all the clubs expenses if they can not provide a ref and it is to little notice to cancel or an official just does not turn up. The clubs have to pay if they call a game off at late notice or even if the ref comes down and calls it off so it should be a case that both sides pay depending on the circumstances :soo:
This is why BOTN, people are dropping out of sundays due to the money making machine that is the Sunday morning league!!

All fair comments lads and I agree with em..
The thing is that a couple of people left the committee recently and 1 of them had VERY strong opinions and lead them a certain way for a few years, it's not going to suddenly change overnight but when these 2 people left the committee had 7 new people show up and offer their help to improve things and drive it forward....
3 of them are people that run clubs (myself inc) so we will ALWAYS ensure a voice is heard from our point of view.
1 is an ex Sunday morning manager and sits on the Saturday committee also so he has bags of experience.
The other 3 seem to have years and years of local football experience ranging from Junior level, committee level and above and all seem dead set on helping move things forward, they all seem genuine people who want the best for local footy and none seem to be in it for political gain or just to hear the sound of their own voices etc...
Now I dont know if it'll all work out, it's not down to me or any one single person but I have seen 1st hand that the new committee honestly do seem to want to improve things and start working this mess out...
They have my support whilst they give it a go!
I think you're within your rights to submit an expenses claim? - whether they pay it or not is a different matter of course :soo:
It isn't always the leagues fault that refs don't turn up. Royal Mail on Sunday turned up to play Scarletts. Everyone there except the ref. Found out from the refs coordinator that he'd been taken for a county cup game and failed to inform the league.
We shouldnt have to pay for pitches either if they dont have any HOT water!! Surely its the facilities on a whole you are payin for not just the grass we attempt to play footy on!!

Who was it that told the ref to forget the Mail v Scarletts game and go to Bretton for a county cup game instead then?
We cant blame the ref, he can only have acted under instruction as he's not likely to just suddenly think -
"I dont fancy Scarletts v Mail I think I'll wander off to Bretton and do a County Cup Game instead" is he?
It's surely a simple case of finding out who instructed that ref to abondon the Scarletts/Mail game and do a county game instead!
If that person informed Scarletts/Mail at the same time as they spoke to the ref then it's fair enough really as County have to take preference, But if they didn't speak to Scarletts/Mail right after speaking to the ref then that could be a bit out of order dont you think?
Finally, was there a ref spare from the cancelled McCains v Netherton game that could have helped at short notice? (I've no idea if there was but the question is being asked by a few others for sure).
All fair enough questions that teams who were let down deserve to get answers too!
Not a case of apportioning blame, just to look into it to ensure mistakes (if any) aren't repeated going forward.
Sean
Whilst I feel that a lot of the comments on this subject are valid I do feel a lot of these questions should be directed to the league in writing. You have more or less said that you now have an approachable committtee at the helm of the league so do the right thing by them and write to them and pose the questions.

Cham.. I will be voicing these concerns at our next committee meeting (next Tuesday).
On here we are simply discussing whats happened and it's been no different on this site for years, I've been co-opted onto the committee but that doesn't mean I've got to suddenly stop talking about these issues does it? :soo: If it does then perhaps the committee are better off without me!
Of course I can't and won't discuss anything that goes on in the meetings but my own opinions and thoughts on events outside of that shouldn't change.
We live in the 21st century where we all live fast paced lives and pretty much all have access and use the internet/email/mobiles so surely as a group (PSMFL) we should be discussing and sorting things in a more modern way than writing letters and awaiting replies!!! rant over
As I've stressed it's not about apportioning blame, people like JB and others who were left without a game after getting changed on a Sunday morning at least deserve to know it will be discussed and that hopefully things will improve uner the new look committee dont they?
I firmly believe it will improve by the way, and I support the PSMFL 100%
Sean. I've been informed that county contacted the ref who then did'nt inform the refs coordinator that he'd been assigned a county game. As I said not everything can been put to the blame of the league and committee.

I dont think anyone was trying to blame our committee, just trying to find out what happened and let those effected know whats going on etc...
If the NFA nabbed our ref and didn't inform us (it's not the refs job to do this in my opinion) then whoever that person was should have called our Ref Secretary and we should have acted on it right away.... I have a sneaky feeling I know who it was.... no names or finger pointing though.
It'll get discussed and sorted for the future for sure.
I spoke with someone last night concerning this (not on the league committee) and he told me it is the duty of the ref to inform the league. In this case I think it's a case of county coming in and throwing there proverbial weight around !
Sorry lads going off the subject slighty - jb £300 / £400 for one days work dont make me  you dont earn that in a month    & you must be a mug to pass up that amount of money to play any kind of football.....
Sean I did not say you could not view your opinions on here. I was simply saying that now there appears to a structure on the league in place more to the liking of many who have voiced dissatisfaction about certain individuals then that channel of communication i.e in writing should be used first and foremost. As a much as I applaude your forward thinking of using this forum to get answers I do not think it will happen.
jimmy i get that every day at this time of year so i can afford to drop it for a sunday! dont need to give it up for a sat as i can usually get done in time :pty:
Seems as though sunday morning is becoming the farce people expected!!
JNE winning 8-1 after some other thumping wins in the past 2 weeks and Westwood winning 18-0 !! Something needs to be done but hard to know what with standards, facilities and commitments all dropping!!
Also, Racing got beat AGAIN! Tyler managing another club into the ground - Relegation beckons me thinks not the glorious season they all predicted in the summer - Brill!!
Was that the cup game against Mail, if it was hell of a result.Thought Mail would have given you a bit of a game, but then what do I know? Woodston have only played a couple of games and to to get walloped like that is not going to help. Lets hope that the Prem doesn't lose anymore teams. Begining to look like another good season for JNE, the team not you Foggy, Racing are not playing to their potential at all, don't think it's Tylers fault just something that seems to happen to some teams.Still it's looking good for Perkins Nipper
:stpd: shut up you geek,
worst thing is we were one nil up for 60 minutes first half quality football second half once some bad tackles got put in an a few players already injured and 4 players pulling out on the day we had no subs and a depleated side so i say well done to the lads for 60 minutes then can you believe 5 gols came one after another as if we were all sat down!
most strange finish to a game ever!
well done again jne but nothing can be done about the league... mc cais i heard are no more?? whats going on.
Geek, never been called that before, many, many, many other insults but geek, I don't think so.So you put your loss down to injuries and players pulling out, wasn't there so have to take your word for it Harbs, lets hope you can rescue the rest of the season and finish where a team of your calibre should. Yep McCains gone, will be two or three handy players available, I predict Teddy Paling to Royal Mail.
Any ideas on this weeks lottery numbers Mick because I reckon that prediction is nailed on !!! Royal Mail played well for 1st 20 on Sunday but when JNE went 2 up you could see the heads drop. Strange change of formation by Hempo considering they are unbeaten in the league but JNE midfield ran the show. Good luck Royal Mail.
Mick, yeh at least Perkins are still doing good so I occasionally get to win a game at the weekends!!
Think Harbs pretty much covered it. Lack of players on the day cost us.If we had 3 decent subs then may have been a different story. You cannot carry 3 injured players and Tyler!!!
As silly as it sounds I didnt rate LB really.Had one very lively forward,a steady centre midfielder and the goalie was a great shot stopper but other than that thought they were relatively poor. Whether they had alot of players missing I dont know???
With the teams Ive seen so far this year which doesnt include Westwood,I can only see one winner of the league this year in JNE. :nwy:
The 18-2 drubbing of Woodston couldnt surely reflect anything as I hear Skerritt even scored 2!!!??Oh and got booked for removing his shirt in celebration!!! :stpd:
Shame about McCains if it is true-One of the only teams we have beat this year.ByeBye 3 points!!! Think the Westons will have already been tapped up by Jose on a drunken sat night scouting mission!!
Does anyone know in total the amount of minutes Foggy has contributed to JNE season so far???Answers on a postcard to;
I LIVE IN A BUBBLE
COOKOO LAND
SILVER JUBILEE
BRETTON
My work here is done.
What a rant nipaldo!! :blh:
Brillant :nwy: Simply brillant!!
Oh, by the way, played twice so far, more than you on a sunday by the sounds of it!!! :ner:
there is no way skerrit got booked for taking his shirt off i saw him in that shirt sunday when they showed up at the wrong ground! i thought it was sprayed on him
Mick the geek was a comment to foggy so wasnt very specific, i wouldnt call you a geek altough knowing you as well as i do you are a boffin!
unfortunately i wish i was joking when i said about all the players pulling out we had to play with matt Goodal who couldnt run at all he could only walk about and try to make it look like we had 11 then john got studs down the ankle and he neede to be subbed but the subbs were still at home in bed.
before you know it division 2 will be the new prem!
