PSL made it through to the next round of the cup with a 1-0 win over Netherton A.
It was quite an even game. PSL started well in the first 20mins and Noel grabbed the only goal of the game. From then on PSL dominated the game in spells but just couldn't turn posession into more goals.
As the game wore on, Netherton tried their best to get that goal back. Finishing the game with 4 forwards, it made PSL defend almost constantly for the last 15mins. PSL were made to work hard to win and Netherton may have felt they could of snatched a goal.
We have Ramsey Town A at home in the quarter finals.
Braggy - we was a little lucky mate...i felt for netherton 'A', they deserved something from that game...Personally i thought it was a cracking game to watch, we dominated for the 1st 20 mins and like you said if we took our chances we should have scored 6 or 7, saying that though netherton should have had 3 or 4 themselves, but Ritchie was outstanding in goal and ben ferguson had the best gamne i've seen him play so far this season, if the rest of the lads show as much passion as those 2 did on saturday we will do okay...
Away at kettering this week in northants county cup, few players back this week so hopefully we can be at full strength....

Well fergs was s**t the week before (though he has done well in midfield this season) so about time really! HAHA!
At least we got a win after the last couple of weeks we have had. All our lot can talk a good game shame they dont play it as well.

My knee is still dodgy Fergs! Unlike certain other people i dont fake my injuries...
I know you guys are desperate for me to come back after narrowly beating a div3 reserve team, but will have to see. :ner:
From what i hear Vinny did a good job next to you on Sat anyway.

yeah vinny did ok, he was a little lost at times and pushed out to the wings a little, but thats to be expected after playing there for the last few games.
Jimmy is bridges back this week,
