Paul Crowson of Moulton appears to be in pole position at the moment (last nights ET), though I am sat in the co-driver seat trying to read a map showing me how to get to the finish line by the back roads.

Spec is sat in the back, happy to be where he is at the moment and is sipping a bacardi & coke (single).

Just behind us Alan Russell & Dave Willis are trying to keep us in their sites in their fairly new contraption, only recently upgraded to Premier status.

Further back Gino has had his back end replaced and hopes to start catching up soon. Al though is fed up of his Porsche performing like a Reliant Robin and has given the race up.

Roger and his Ford Capri with interchangeable dice spring the odd surprise, whilst Leverington are proving as difficult to pass as ever in their Volvo, though they do have 1 part that lets them down every now and again.

Pinchbeck are the surprise package, having recently discovered that it helps to put some petrol in their car. Whittlesey are the disapointment, as their Sinclair C5 proved to be something of a 1 season wonder.

Uppingham chug along, though they do have a nice bumper at the front. Oundle had a flashy paint job done in the summer, and a few new "tylers" fitted, but it is still an Astra underneath.

Stamford Bells keep themselves to themselves in the pack, but Wimblington & Long Sutton are both worried about their MOT in May.

Merry Xmas everyone!

Went to watch Peterborough Northern Star play Tommys new team for next season (Huntingdon Town) 1 nil to P.N.S. Tommy spent half the night watching the game and half making notes. Poor game for a cold Wednesday night. Looks like Tommy has alot of work to do but they have a good set up and with the new club house being built i think Mr Cooper can build a side to move forward

Good Luck Tommy :snt:

Cheers Gino - was at the game as we play Huntingdon in a Hunts Premier Cup game on January 11th and was running the rule over them (called preparation Gino???).

Truly awful game on a very poor pitch - neither side would finish in the top half of the Peterborough League on that showing - it was like a game of kick and rush in the playground. Still at least Foggy was good entertainment (who sang that song I predict a riot?) - what with Foggy, Ronnie & Hemps in the same side it's no wonder Darren Bradley has gone back to centre half - at least he will get a few touches of the ball there (ps Darren - ball has to go in the net before you celebrate a goal)

Huntingdon already have a manager (Gary Ling), and I am sure he is looking forward to the new clubhouse being built as well!

Tommy seems to have a valid excuse for being at Huntingdon - spying mission but Gino why were you there and more interestingly why were you busy removing the letters PERKINS MANAGER from your football coat at half-time
Bit of a mystery to all this. Are you angling for a new post or just a new coat
