Slim Bratts

This is my first ever attempt at one of these bad boys... so bare with me.
We started craply and ended craply,
First -Starting craply:
As the ref blew his whistle to start the game we only had 10 men on the pitch as many of our players had been stuck in traffic. So know proper warm up either.
We actually still started rather brightly (first time for everything) and when the 11th player took the field we took the lead...a great ball from Slim Bratts (no favouratism) was then hooked across for Deboo to finish! This was short lived, i picked up a knee injury after a Sutton defender tried to blast the ball clear, as i hobbled off like a plum Sutton broke away to score...sorry didn't even see the goal.
I did see their second though as the impressive no. 8 cut inside to smash a shot in to the top corner...great goal, simple.
We continued to actually play ok, well when we went forwards and drew level again, deservedly so. We then soon had more chances with Deboo nearly scoring a very similar goal to his first, but missing the ball this time. He was then denied again after the keeper was caught out a Sutton defender made a great save WITH HIS HANDS only for the ref not to give a penalty (hmmm first name terms with the Sutton players...you bet!) :bby:
Shortly after it was Sutton causing problems and again went infront after some poor defending from PSL simply not clearing their lines.
Again the response was quick from PSL and Heyes smashed/sliced a shot over the Sutton keeper.
3-3 Half time
Second half was boring as hell and besides my arms are now aching!
Ending craply:
We messed up again not clearing our lines after numerous chances and Long Sutton took a 4-3 lead which they held on to.
Summary:
A game we should have won, we had the chances, Deboo and Heyes were impressive upfront, but our defending was abysmal at times and Sutton could have won by more at the end. However, though they have alot of pace upfront i am surprised at their league postion, maybe they had an off day against us, but we did not play as well as we can (again) and should have at least drawn.
