i went to watch a local derby between sutton bridge and long sutton on saturday, and what a game i witnessed. it was all people were talking about all week so i went to see what the fuss was about, it was fast and feirce game which see sutton bridge come out on top 3-2. people were saying that long sutton should hammer the bridge but from what i see it was long sutton who was the nail and sutton bridge doing all the hammering!!! there must of been well over 100 people there to watch this game and i didnt hear a single person say sutton bridge didnt deserve to win, they out battled and out played long sutton all over the pitch!!! i will definitly be going to the return fixture!

I popped down the see this one aswell, certainly was alot there watching. Was a cracking game, a proper derby! From a neutrals prospective thought the bridge deserved to be 4/5-1 up at half time as they had some great chances. Bridge done well to keep going against fitter opposition but they seemed really fired up, sutton never gave in though and levelled twice, but the bridge wasn't done and won it with a good header from a corner at the end, the bridge lads certainly earned their money this week  I too will be taking in the game at long sutton.
