Damn! I had £50 on the Stilton United 0 v 48 Peterborough City result.
oh never mind mate, to be fair it wasnt a bad guess and your prediction was about as close as some pundits on sky sports so i think you have a future in this somewhere.
actually back of the net was nearer with his prediction!
17-0?! you're having a laugh
disappointed with our result on sat away to castor. we had several good chances to win it. but to be honest we haven't been consistent at all this season.
We were rubbish as well 2morrow - although I don't know how the ref didn't see your defender's fantastic two handed diving save in the first half. That ref is consistently dreadful. We say some refs are bad as par for the course when we have a bad result or a couple of bad decisions, but that ref is truly the epitome of poor and he always is. I'd rather have Ozzy ref us with a blindfold on!
You talk about ref's, we (Manea) were away at March St Mary and our ref was Thomas Khumalo. He didn't have any flags for a start, when he called for me and their skipper i just presummed he wanted to speak to the lino's as they do, but he went to start so i said to him "do you want the lino's" he said "do i need to speak to the linesman then" as you can imagine i thought we were in for fun here!!!! When explained what i meant he said i only need the linesman to tell him when the ball is out as he has been doing this for so long now that he would know when players were offside or not (i'm still shaking my head now whilst i typing this!!). In the end i didn't make any difference luckily enough, as we were far to dominant and was always going to win but my thoughts afterwards were what if this was a top of the league clash with a lot to play for it could have turned into a complete nightmare!!!!! He said near the end of the game that this was the first game he had refereed in this country. Beware boys if you see the name........ £35 as well !!!!!!!!!!!
Harbs, what the heck happened to your lot? I know you did'nt play, and Langtoft are a solid side, very well organised and committed, but that scoreline was a shock, thought Bainer was winding us up after he phoned you.
We have got to play City again this week, :tears: . Again, i do not know how these teams do it, amazing commitment, we were bored to tears so what they must have felt like i can't imagine. Manea- Castor this week if i remember correctly, the weeks big game?
ha, i have no idea mate... i wish i was joking.
i was just walking out of work when Bainer rang and i thought he was joking about your score line!
dont know what to say mate i just cant comment on eye's result :-/
no idea what happened and dont think anyone really wants to talk about it.
Fair enough, i would'nt like to be playing you this week though, im expecting a backlash. :gun:
well im missing this weekend mate im going to Spain to watch the england game a have a few beers so wont be back in training until next week.
yeah napoli, you're right about the ref. i thought he was a bit picky and inconsistent too.
i suppose on reflection 0-0 was probably a fair result.
