Ooo dear

I had a pint with Chris Gannon on Sunday (which turned into 15 and, like Spec, I am now gonna pass the drinking mantel onto someone younger).
He would like to pass on his regards to all at Thorney FC including Mess'rs Wagg, Fovargue and co. as well as all ex PDFL colleagues (Mr. Long at Bretton Park - you are still alive ?). He would like to say that he is aiming for one more World Cup outing with Turks & Caicos and eagerly anticpates the draw next month when, this year, all teams are in the North American hat from the start and a draw against the USA or Mexico is a real possibility. Any rash decisions to return to Thorney Park, alas, must await the draw.
He maintains his humbleness at being one of the few internationally based ex Peterborough League players performing abroad along with other ex PDFL players presently playing in internationally renowned leagues such as Poland, Iraq, Colombia, the Isel of Man and Wales.
He wants to make amends for the disastrous outing (and thrashing) in 2003 against Haiti where he decided to take their centre forward - a well oiled and muscular brute of man it has to be said - out in the first minute to show they had a game on their hands and ended up bouncing off him and falling in a heap on the floor. It won't happen again !
