Good win then Saturday Jimmy... We played alot better than the week prior and its looking positive at last. 0-0 at half time having hit the dam woodwork 2/3 times it all changed when our young centrehalf got injured had to bring a "mature" head on and for all his efforts of keeping up with their forward his first job was to sprint 1 on 1 for a ball that went over the top of him - no chance 1-0 with that they utilised on their pace up front and our lack of it, for a similar second goal. Good lot the Perkins lads and a laugh off the pitch to.

Couple of weeks off for us from the league now. We at home to Eynesbury Res this weekend in Benevolent Cup looking for some form to take with us back into the league!

lee- budda did inform me on here that perkins beat you, also said he was impressed with a youngish alconbury side, yea they not a bad bunch of lads. Saturday was a good win for us, moved us up to 4th and within 2 points of the leaders. We actually had subs this week, which helped, we didnt play out best football but got the 3 points, we seem to be getting it together now, couple of new signings have defo made the difference for us - sam smee at centre back n a young lad craig scantlebury at right back ( he will def give justin a run for his place ).
