jube reserves got knocked out by there saturday team & aparently its the same as the sunday team with a few 1st teamers in it.

i played that game & they are slow starters but well organised like to attack down the flanks, hit the angles get an early cross in. as long as you close down the back quick stop that long ball out wide you will do well

Thanks for the info lads... Al - if they're the same team we will indeed be in for a tough game!
It looks like our wide men will have their work cut out, But to be fair thats where we usually do our best work so it should make for an interesting game...
We're 'usually' a fairly good cup team (2 finals in last 2 years - PFA and Northants) so fingers crossed the lads will do me and Mick B proud.

What was the score in the Jube Reserves game against them? And was it this season?
We played Jube Reserves pre-season a few weeks back so Iwe could maybe draw a comparison :soo:

BOTN, they are a pysical side and the main reason we beat them was due to us not reacting to their tatics to hit us off the ball. they have a big mouthy bloke playing cen mid, he is their engine and most things go thro him, keeping it wide can win you the game, also they are good in the air at the back so run at them. can't remember the cen mid lads name but i'm sure flynny does. keep cool and i believe you can win it. i support all pboro sides in county action its 11 v 11. COME ON PBORO
