With all the recent match cancellations, I just wanted to ask as serious question.

In the league rules it clearly states that in order for players to be elegible for the League Cup, they must have played in two league games. :sad:

Most teams have only played one game and some haven't even kicked a ball yet.

Surley for the rule to apply teams should have had the opportunity to play at least three league games.

Perhaps this rule should be lifted for the first round of these cups?? :soo:

What does everyone else think? Has anyone asked the league about this?

Perhaps the league need to delay the first round say until January. That way the clus might have played two games by then!

A very good suggestion Paul but I doubt it will be one taken on board by the league committee.

If I remember correctly, the first round of the league cup normally takes place in the first week of October.

We'll see what happens I suppose.
