View Full Version : PSL Res v Kings Cliffe Res

PSL got their first points of the season with a 4-1 win over Kings Cliffe. :pty2: PSL started the brightest with a goal after only a few minutes only to be pegged back just a few minutes later after some very poor defending leaving a relatively easy finish for the Kings Cliffe forward. Both teams were evenly matched through the first half. However, PSL stepped up several gears in the second half and looked a completely different team and dominated the rest of the game.

WOO HOO we off the mark at last, 2 games 3 points, not the best of starts, but points on the board. Wasnt there myself, so fantastic result braggy n well played lads, i heard all about the game from several people n from what i was told you all played superb second half!! Lets make sure now that its 3 points from every game for rest of the season:

Good performance second half from PSL, fair play to Kings Cliffe, young team who put up a good fight first half and will cause a few upsets if they keep their heads up.

Still problems for PSL defending which need to be sorted quickly.

Starting a new petition to 'SAVE BRATTAN FROM RIGHT BACK'. The boy is wasted there

You wont get any support from your team mates on that one young bratts as they all want you playing there!! And dont think about playing s***e there either cos that will just earn you a place on the bench

Hmmm seems to be some kind of connection taking place... Bratts manages reserves first game... we lose, Bratts takes his X Large sheepskin coat to help with the first team the next week... they lose, meanwhile reserves win convincingly

Just kidding big bro

People are already signing that petition

Al- like you said it was going to be a tough game, fletton showed that despite there poor start to the season they can still perform when needed to. It was just an off day for sports n teams shouldnt look into that result as bein sports season on the slide. That look on the lads faces in the changing room at the end of the game showed how disappointed they were in themselves. But as a club we have enough depth in both teams to show they will bounce back.

Paul Gascoigne  i thort more Paul scholes :soo:

THE 'SAVE BRATTAN FROM RIGHT BACK' PETITION:

I hereby certify that BRATTAN (Justin - the one that can play football) is wasted at right back, though he can not shoot for toffee or head a ball in the desired direction, there is still a position for him further up the field.

Reasoning:

- He can not understand a word Scottish Rich the keeper says
- He is compared to Phil Neville
- Everyone is taking the pee out of him as they know he does not want to play there and this is affecting his confidence in life
- He does not want to play there

Please copy this, sign below and post

Thanks guys... love you x

Justin,

Replies for each part of your arguement:
- Hardly anyone can understand what Rich says!
- Thats cuz your as ugly as Phil Neville! Haha only kidding!
- The more you moan about it the more we'll wind you up about it!
- Urmmm.... :soo:

Lets go for the opposite. Have a petition to keep Justin at right back!

Reasons -

He's better there than he is in midfield

He's played they're once more than anyone else so can understand Rich a bit more than his replacement

The lads think it's funny that he doesn't want to play there

Noel

I am liking the sound of that me in midfield business 'simply me'.

I would be like a midfied general switching the play here there and everywhere ... beautiful, i can see it now.

It must be jealousy from the other lot they don't want me showing them up with my skills and quality...yeah that's it :blh:

Noel
10-09-2007, 13:19
Justin, I'm sure you'd love to be a midfield general but I'd love to be fast without a knackered knee. it's not going to happen.

Slim Bratts
10-09-2007, 13:28

yeah good mate now i've got over not really having any pre-season at all. we kept a well deserved clean sheet on sat which obviously is nice as a defender.
