Well our league campaign couldnt of got off to a worse start!! Firstly i get a call at 9.15 this am telling me that the ref has pulled out. and that they trying to get another one. Couple hours later another call from ketton saying cant get a ref n the league are saying we have to go ahead with the game and find any fcuking jo blogs to ref it!! As the league knew early enough that the ref had pulled out n they didnt have any other ref's available surely they should have called they game off??!! Oh no the game has to be played.

Fair play to both lads from Ketton n Psl who reffed a half each ( very fair to both teams ). Ketton took an early lead to thanks to some shocking defending and poor judging by our keeper. Psl had a chance straight after that went begging. To cut a long story short ketton won 4-2 thanks to some s**te finishing and very poor defending on our part. The score line should be reading ketton Res 2 - Psl Res 22, but hey footballs a funny old game.

it didn't help me taking your keeper for the 1st team at such short notice.
it nice to have a reserve manager in place that does his job to help out the 1st team. and for that i thank you jimmy.
and he did well too

No probs al, that what were there for!! Even with you taking our keeper we had enough quality on the pitch to win the game!! 1st match nerves? Possibly with 1 or 2 players, with all due-respect for ketton that was 3 points thrown away as far as i am concerned n i am sure the lads will be up for putting it right next week.

I agree, watching from the sidelines of that game was shocking (like a lot of our derensive play and finishing). Fair play to the Ketton lads they took their chances and they only had a few, good bunch of lads though who were as fair as PSL considering no ref...good food after as well.
