Some good tough games in there to start with Morrow!!
Gonna be a tough season in Div 2 next year!!
Mind you i can't imagine Div 1 being easy!!
Bit early for predictions but i can see it being very close between 5 or 6 teams!!

nice to see u back on here 2morrow!! didnt really heremuch from u at the back end of last season?!
yeah! yeah! wonder why that was eh?!
to be honest i was very disappointed with the way we finished not least at your place when practically all of our team gave up.
we need a change in attitude this year if we're to do anything. we've got the players but its not just about that.
good luck this season in div 1.
and 8 out of 10 away at the end?
any games away from greenfields are a blessing to be honest!

Cheers Darren!
I just feel that on that day,we were hungry for that title!
We started well, and i don't think your lads recovered!
Cos we only got a point at your place,we knew we
had to be on top form to beat you!
I honestly feel you were the best side we played last
season in the league, and if we had of lost at Greenfields,
we couldn't have complained!
Think div 2 will be tough this season mate,as its already
been said,but i expect you,Eye,Manea,Stilton and possibly
Doddington to fight for the top two!
Good luck,i will keep an eye out for your results!
So Castor not being included in the contenders? No pressure then, I'm happy with the underdog tag :mnn:
Yeah they're included Raph its just whether they will finish bottom, 2nd from or 3rd from :gun:

Sorry!
To be honest, don't know alot about Castor,
but i have just been informed that Biff is the
gaffer so i do expect them to be up there!!
There is your pressure!!!!!
too many good teams in there for castor to challenge. would expect them to have a half decent cup run and finish comfortable mid table.

crofty, not sure if biffa is gunna b thier gaffa ?? judging by what happened saturday i very much doubt it :sad2: shame really cuz he is a top bloke who has a lot of time for his teammates.
What do you mean "after what happened Saturday" ??? We won 4-3 at Langtoft after going 3-1 down and Biff scored the first goal - did I miss something? :soo:
The Game

didnt know castor had a game napoli ?? good game ? sounds it .. i don't think it had ne thing to with that.i think he was having "homelife" issues."shock"
He may have had some issues, but he was down on Saturday and we needed him there for some guidance after the first half - where we went 1-0 up and then proceeded to play absolute garbage for the rest of the 45 and go 3-1 down! After half time, we actually started to play through (instead of over) the midfield and some good goals were created to win 4-3.
Funny point came at the end of the game, when the ref gave a penalty for a perfectly good challenge! Langtoft sportingly knocked the resulting penalty back to our 'keeper.
Cheers lads, see you in the new season. Oh, and as for you Harbs - if we're third from bottom, you can be 2nd from bottom! I've already done ya with Perkins Res and EMAP FC this year - will it be a hat-trick with Castor & Ailsworth? haha! :mnn:
cheers crofty.
you're right about our two games last season but you were easily the better team in that divsion.
good luck for the coming season mate.
ohhh you could be shooting yourself in the foot with that mate, if your beating us at half time i want to swap shirts.
if we finish second from bottom this season i will buy you a new pair of boots for the start of next season. would be something more worth while but im not rich like most the money burning nuts that come on this site.
Will be a hard season and I'm sure it will be a good game - I didn't say we'd win, I said it'd be nice if we did!
New boots would be nice for Christmas though! :snt:
