so you think its funny yeah? alconbury are about to find out what a fool you are and what a big mistake they have made in getting you as reserve team manager,

you messed up bluebell, and all the team had to pay the fines you caused before they could play again

then theres the mess you caused at gedney hill, in which 9 players signed by you ended up suspended until they paid up because of your f~~k ups,and the disgrace you caused when taking your players of the pitch just because you were outclassed, the game is much better off without your type.

what about all the PM's you sent me offering me money if i can get you players last season?

as if i need your money. at least with all the cr#p you caused you could supply free bog roll eh? but you couldnt get enough to clear up your mess now could you??

:stpd:

Bluebell players did not pay their bookings, I did not play, so how did I incur their cards? - I folded it' its not the end of the world. Gedney - THE PLAYERS walked off not me and not under my instruction although for good reason in my personal view - again easy for others to have an opinion without having been there.

I have better things to do then attack others efforts for their clubs/organisations on websites.

Im just trying to enjoy my football mate, with all thats going on in my families lives if that makes me a bad person then im sorry everyone.

i know your not a bad person, and i aint no bully, but i will state what i think. when it comes to football you do it all the wrong way Lee, you know what you have done simple yeah, and yes it is sour grapes about losing thackham from psl.

why would brett bellamy and luke thackham leave mid season from title chasing psl to join gedney hill bottom of div 1? money! im sure dave barfoot and dave burgess have alot to say on how you ran the team. then thackham joins yaxley because he needs the £25 they offered, then you step in and offer him £50 to play for roger daniels! now this bit puzzles me as you are reserve manager and you are paying 1st teamers. take a leaf out of jimmy brattons book, he is now psl reserve manager and he has brought to the club a number of youngsters, and after including a number of them in the 1st team pre season 2 have already made it into the side, now thats what i call the right way to do things, take this advice Lee and get yourself a few kids from the under 18's leagues and get your success this way. must managers have done favours to win their players and they respect you more for it.

i know your heart is in the right place but you are going about it all wrong,
if you want to splash money out go and get involved with pns or a ucl club as they would welcome help or put it into the clubs pocket not the players.

Al, I wish our hearts were right mate thats just the problem! :soo:

Football. At Gedney I feel I done a good job I had 1 month of pre season to find a whole new team of reserves as they had no players - result top of the league hence they then ask me to be first team manager of a team 10 points adrift in division 1 and the only players I had at my disposal were the reserves... Bellamy and Luke join the club no complaints from anyone there, nor taking them to a cup semi-final...

Then Kings Cliffe! (Gedney had/have people on the league committee that were not there on the day apart from the chairman and I guess they feared for their positions and reputations so felt they had to act by pointing a quick finger) Quite frankly I dont know I was left to draw my own conclusions. I enjoyed my time there up until that point and wish them all the best Im not saying anymore.

Im at Alconbury through people who actually take the time know me, knew my father and know my work ethic. Im sorry people judge one another by others clouded views/agendas but the guys at Alconbury take a person on knowing a person and thats great for me.

All the best Friday and the season.

I don't think people are interested in reading this sort of thing on here to be honest with you guys especially when it starts getting personal.
The only winners in all this are the players who benefit and then the knock on effect of these payments starts all the behind the scenes aggro that tears clubs apart.
There should be no payments or benefits whatsoever in Peterborough League Football, I walked away with a clear conscience and fcuk me do I not miss this at all, happy days :chl:

Just a quick point, don't know any of the personalites involved in this debate so there's no bias from me on this one.

Don't think its fair to name players and how much they might be getting paid on a public website, reason being there might be people viewing this site who get a little bit of the green eyed monster and end up reporting said player to tha taxman or the DSS.

Argue away gents, but spare a thought for the player " stuck in the middle".

thats the price you pay for accepting an illegal payment. so are you saying you're ok with a player breaking the rules?

for the record i have no idea if its true and personally couldn't give a s**t if someone gets paid £1000 a week even if they were in the same team as me as long as i was happy it'd none of my business

No i'm not saying its ok to break the rules, can't figure out how you could construe i was from my post.

Good for you that you couldn't give a s**t, unfortunately not everyone else thinks like that!

Jusy saying i don't think it is fair to name names.

why should a players identity be protected so he doesn't get found out for receiving an illegal payment?

Like i said don't know the player involved but i get the impression from the posts on here that he might not have a job.
Put yourself in his shoes, if you were a bit "hard up" and someone offered you cash to play, you might be tempted to accept. That doesn't make it Ok but does make it understandable.

That's why i don't feel comfortable with his name being mentioned, much in the same way that i don't go around reporting my neighbours if i notice one of them has an out of date tax disc on his car.

Now if it can be PROVEN this rule has been broken then i am sure there are more appropriate avenues to go down rather than this website.

Not going to keep replying to your posts JB because that will only attract more attention which is the exact opposite of my attentions.
