I agree with Swanny the merciless (though having a pop at a dead bloke this week was maybe a step too far naughty Alan) we do get too worked up about our little past-time.
Who will be the first to walk - will the player revolt do for Philly at PNS reserves - has Gino had enough of his underachievers- has Spec run out of different formations - am I bored of winning every week - has Lee run out of family members in Whittlesey - are PSL going to change sport

Does that make me a crap manager then Tommy because I change formations now and again, your obsession with Hotpoint really isn't normal you know, you keep nicking your last minute winners mate because your luck will only last so long !! Shame about the New Years Eve plan though, but it will probably mean you are top going into 2006 which was probably in your mind as soon as you had offered the fixture to us and then pulled out.

Don't want to split hairs Spec, but it was sitting down to my Xmas dinner top of the league, therefore a game New Years eve would not impact that.
You know how embarrased I am by our extraordinary record against you, and I did not think that it would be right to beat you again with a severely weakened side, as we did in the Hunts Cup last year, during this season of goodwill.
I do confess to having a soft spot for Hotpoint as you know given the 6 trophy laden years I spent there, and you are one of the first results I look for on a Saturday.
Trust that this meets with your approval and I wish you, your wonderful Chairman, Hanks, all those Eye players from last year and the old (very old) stalwarts you insist in keeping faith with the most merry Xmas possible.

You will just have to keep your powder in your keg for a bit George - and don't go getting yourself suspended or injured - forgot you have a good record aginst us - hope not too much of it rubs off on your down troden collegues.
Would be delighted to have you ref the game Mr Flynn whenever it is.
Off to town in a moment for the first time in about 6 months, so will probably get a whack somewhere during the evening.
ive even suprised myself - so far ive not even had so much as a booking.
although, i was banned for the first five weeks!!!

glad to hear your going to ref again tom unlike most refs that have a bit of bother and pack it all in . get them self's in the E,T, but always seem to end up refing again . 1.Gino he will be gone at the end of the season the committee will not take another season like the last two ( trust me I know ).
2, spec will stay another season well he will start it . thinking tommy is going to a U,C,L, team he will be licking his lips at the players he will be getting from the ortons . but ??? read on.
3, tommy will be going no were you see he will not want to leave knowing the P,F,A, have got one over him and will want another season to win that cup. he likes the banter on here with all his football mates and in a way hate it or like it he is a big name in local football . a big fish in a small pond . and going to the U,C,L, well he would be lost in that big sea of big fish . at the start of the season he will get players from Hotpoint and Perkins . ????. read on
4, back to spec seeing that tommy has stayed at the ortons and lost some players he will give it a month then jack it all in for the season thinking to himself theres better thinks to do with his time ( but he will be back cos he will miss the crack and still have the urge to beat tommy )
5,Lee will call it a day in the fens having been let down by his team this season and step down to the res's young speechly will take over but last two days as he will fall out with his shadow. number 9 will take over .
6, .P,S,L, will stay with there man cos they like that fighting spirit . the only change there will be Gino going there as number two .
7, back to perkins big suprise here rodger D will be leaving alconbury cos of the traveling and the fact he can't get the best players to play out there . and will join the city club .
well thats what I think . sorry I'am not going by my real name at the moment as it will get me in a lot of bother

I would like to disagree, I know i would miss football every weekend and I would like to think that Gino and Spec are gonna stick it out for a couple more seasons at least!
Lozzaman. Hard season but i for one am going nowhere (Trust me i know)
The people that matter at Perkins know whats going on.

Good job Gino! You can't take the characters out the league, mind the real characters are the ones who stick it out through thick and thin. Tough game for Moulton saturday, county cup game and we only have two midfielders available to count. Anyway, good luck Gino, Perkins will pick up after christmas. :snt:

I know you're embarrassed about your results over us Tommy because you probably only deserved to win one of them, still you beat us and that's that.
Some crystal ball predictions in the previous posts and some interesting presumptions made, could be a few truths in there as well, time will tell. Although I can't see any of my lot going to play for Tommy because they don't like him and as much as I've tried to tell them he's not as bad as he tries to make out they don't believe me, but then they haven't known Tommy as long as I have...........

no problem with the real name **** either - I use "Bluestar" cos I cannot compete with the "pretty boys", Spec, Gino or Tommy, when it comes to pen pictures! For the record I am Mick Burch, I "manage" Whittlesey Reserves, having previously been player/manager of Whittlesey Blue Stars for 20+ years - back to managing this year after taking a years sabbatical, to progress the club "off" the field, and loving every minute of it. Lee, has had a tough time following last season, losing players such as Georgie, Wayno, Snitchy and Taylor would have hurt anyone, but team spirit is still in the club and the youngsters are beginning to come through - as previously stated rumours of our demise are greatly exaggerated! :mnn:
bluestar can't really remember having a go at you . but it's good to see all you fen boys can use a P,C, copy and paste what ever next . as for pretty boy's spec gino tommy come on . PR for swanny ummmmm do you know me ??????

Been on any catwalks lately? Hope you have informed all the lads at Hotpoint that they have a "famous" model playing in their midst :lol: If not best tell them now buddy cos we are playing you in the not too distant future and I wouldnt want the story to slip out after a few bevvies :beer: would I !!!

didn't get whacked Wednesday night just bored senseless - either I am getting old or town is crap. There was a Karaoke in Yeats and you couldn't hear a thing above the backing tracks - bah humbug!
Last night was better - saw Ben Elton at the Braodway - Paul Daniels was there with Debbie Mcgee as well - asked Paul what brought him to Peterborough - told me that Gino had asked him to be his number 2 at Perkins - I laughed and said "no seriously" - he said that he was taking part in a local pantomine, but was not sure that he could make a success of it - "what and Spec's asked you to go to Hotpoint as well?" I replied!
"not at all" he went on - "I intend taking this role full on and will fight my corner with gusto - I think that I will appeal to the PFA (Perfect Family Audience) - "surely you are not taking on the PSL job" I exclaimed
"Of course not" he retorted. "I am used to success year after year after year - I don't care if no-one likes me, and that most people find me a little irritating".
"I have no idea what job would be right for you then Paul!"
