Now that the league has been decided whats everyones predictions for Mondays Senior Cup Final.

Will Moulton's loss of form and losing the league after it was in their own hands count against them?

I predict a 2 - 1 Alconbury victory.

after everything that has gone on at moulton with the lge droping out of there hands its either gunner be another defeat or a backlash iam hopein the latter iam going with an easy win for moullton.only with the lge lost they will want to win something this year after comin so close again.dont no were the problem was wiv moulton the goals dried up but in the team there are plenty of goal scorers in the likes of benty,sinny,posey , locky wen picked also now teddy is back to full fitness .its a pitty he got injured half way through the season, and there is the famous skeggy , bally, all them players but not enough goals , cmon moulton you can do it take the trophy back to the sticks

Alconbury 2 Moulton 1 AET

Dour 90 minutes with Alconbury best side for first hour until Moulton substitutions brought some of their forwards onto the pitch.

Extra Time very exciting with 2 Karl Gibbs goals in the first half followed by an Ian Bent one for Moulton in the 2nd which meant a nervous last 10 minutes for Alconbury, but they held on.

Saw it as more fiercely competitive than dour myself but Alconbury were definitely the better team other than in the first ten minutes and last ten minutes of extra-time.

The loss of Gary Roddis after ten minutes (clash of heads) seemed to work Alconbury's way as the nippy wide lad who replaced him was too much, too often for Moulton.

Both Alconbury goals came shortly after Moulton lost their big #4 which I suspect was no coincidence.

Dour or not ........ enjoyable game from where I was stood !
