View Full Version : Donations
Mark Cox has started the ball rolling with £100, very generous mate, thank you very much.
Please don't be put off by amounts etc, Mark was very close to Jon and as I said before even a fiver makes a hell of a difference and it's not about competing financially with anybody, please please give what you can afford.
Best wishes to all Jon`s family and friends.
I think the idea of putting our money from the weight-in is a great one.

A big thank you for those who took the time out last weekend and during this week to bring your donations to me.
Massive respect for the following people:
Fat club members - Gino Agius, Richie Baines and Tommy Cooper
Local football legends - Tommy Flynn, Alex Brown, Ian Wytch, Kenny Venters and Tim Gale.
Local businessmen very close to Jon - Mark Cox and Matty Barker.
We raised between the above a total of £670.
I was also honoured to be asked by the family to produce and design the order of service for the funeral next Tuesday. This is now almost completed and printed and I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Tony Kelly, Mick Horton and Emma Rigby-Burr at Europress Printers for their help, advice and service which they have given free of charge and takes the total to well over £1,000 which was the original target.
Paul and Tommy have been flat out raising funds as well for the last week and have a total of around £4,000.
I take my hat off to all of you that have contributed to the cause

Sad today today and although not there in body will be there in spirit. Give him the send off he deserves and hope all goes well.
