View Full Version : PFA Sunday Senior Cup Final
Tommy Trophy
29-04-2007, 18:17
Just had to endure Shakey and a couple of the Jubilee fringe players (Harbs & Nipper) coming into the Oak and lording your fantastic 1-0 win against some division 8 side in the final today (recognised the opposition keeper who played midfield for me at Ortonians - good old Paddy)
Win the county cup when there are more than 2 teams you have to beat and you are then welcome back to lord it again.
Can't believe that my 2 skippers for next season sent me a picture text holding the cup though neither of them played today.
Tommy - Come on, you do not expect me to bite do you!!
that must be the first final at Chesnut that Teddy Paling has lost. He must have played in at least 4 maybe 5 for the Nags. He usually scores in finals, in fact he was known as two Goal Teddy. Well done to the J.N.E. lads, long overdue, pity you weren't able to play Foggy. By the way what a load of drivel you told me at the Mail Fitzjon Ingle match, do you really know anything ? :soo: Foggy ask Tommy how many times did the Oak beat the Nags in a Cup Final.I make no apology for harping on about the past but Tommy has made an art form of doing the same thing. :blh:
Thanks Mick, Jne Lads really enjoyed Sunday and great day had by all, Your right is long overdue and am proud of players as not let anyone down and most pleased for Shakie!
Sorry about the Tommy thing could not let the cat out the bag!! Am pleased for him and now got 5 months - 3 til pre-season to get fit and playing sweeper for him!! Hard work ahead but am determined to get there!!
