View Full Version : Representative side
Any views on who you would choose as the best 11 players to represent the Peterborough Prem? Can we stick to performances this season please, as reputation would not get you a place in this particular side!!!!
I understand there is such a team, but only open to players below a certain age!!! How weirds that?
Just imagine Ryan Giggs not representing Wales 'cos the WFA said he was good enough, but too old!!!!!!
Why dont we vote and see if we agree on 90% or will it be Ortonian players and players that Tommy would like to poach????????????

Completely impartial and based on what I have seen this season: -
Dave Beeny (Ortonians)
Chris Kaye (Ortonians), Ben Lawrence (PSL), Steve Thompson (Parson Drove), Tim Quy (Crowland)
Mark Baines (Ortonians), John Ball (Moulton), Liam Southgate (Crowland), Gareth Sanderson (Hotpoint).
Tommy Treacher (Moulton), Andrew Sayers (Uppingham)
Subs: Tom Brown (Perkins) Dave Taylor (Whittlesey), Stuart Addinall (Ortonians, sorry Hotpoint), Gavin Posey (Pinchbeck) & Ronnie Leishman (Oundle) - not seen George Goodayle or played against PSL and Wimblington
INteresting selection Tommy! Would be nice to hear from some other people who get to see more teams play week-in, week-out (refs and league officials perhaps). Interested to see that you have none of Moulton's back4 (or 5 if you include the 'keeper) in your squad, despite them having one of the meanest defences in the league (even taking into account the slip-ups against Wimblington and Alconbury). Also no place for Goodayle despite his record this season, yet Mr Treachers gets a start, despite his record this season!

Fair shout Badger on the Moulton defence - personally think that their strength is as a unit rather than individually, though Cookey would be close. Also think that Davison, Groves, Fogg & Patten from the Ortonians defence would be choosen by some.
Did put on my post that I have not seen Goodayle this season. Other player that I thought about afterwards was Ryan Francis from Perkins.
