What a Quarter Final Cup tie this one was, what a Cup match should be about.
Both teams up for it, real 'roll your sleeves up and have a go time' this one.
Despite being bottom of the league, Wsey produced undoubtedly their best performance of the season for this one and were unlucky to come away losing 4-3 after extra time. The Reserves now finally have everyone fully fit and a starting 11 that is a match for anyone in the league.
Good luck to Parsons Drove Reserves in the next round.
It's been a hard old season for everyone involved at Whittlesey Utd FC (1st and reserve team), but their is a stern comittment from everyone at the club to pick ourselvelves up and move forward, with the energy of some of the backroom staff and the commitment being shown to the development of the youth team players, i don't see the future for WUFC being as grey as some people are making out.
Onwards and Upwards.
