Played pool last nite for proper posties in the Final of the independent pool league. Lost 4-3 and was an enjoyable evening until in my opinion one individual blatantly and unsportingly cheated!!
Whilst referring the 6th frame he proceeded to talk to a player and slate him making all sorts of accusations and suggestions and he was from the opposing team!! This is unacceptable and very unsporting in the game of pool!! Unfortunately our player lost and tempers flared. The man in question showed no dignity or respect and completely looked stupid as if he had done nothing wrong, even his own team where struggling to protect him!!
A good nite was spoilt by one individual and the question was raised why no independent referee was used - Mr A. Fitzjohn can you please answer?? :soo:
Shame really, but left a real sour taste on the game, Can not wait for next year though when we play them again. :lol:
