the cup final is at rushden and diamonds ground wednesday 28th march, its a 7.30pm ko.

we have a supporters coach leaving PSL on lincoln road at 6pm, seat are £5 each, best to get your seat in advance, you can do this by emailing for details to pborosportsfc@aol.com.

so if you want to go don't chance it by just turning up and paying to get on the coach on the night! (you might get lucky doing this, but best make sure early).

3-1 AET quality night and both teams hitting the woodwork etc and hanging on at times but a good hard fought victory with 2 excellent goals to clinch the cup!

Yes thankyou Tommy it feels great, the lads showed unbelievable discipline.They were kicked all over the place and still came through.So proud of everyone associated with the club.Personally its the biggest achievment of my football career and im so very proud.Id like to say a big thankyou to everyone who came to support us and for all the good wishes that were passed on.

Highlight of the night was seeing a very smart manager dressed in a suit!!! Whats that all about Tommy? If thats the norm for a final, any chance of me borrowing it at the end of April? (If it will fit!)

Top game and top nite!! Well done the whole club as you were a credit to yourselves!!

Little match report !!!!

Good start by both teams with pretty much the match even, after 25 mins Kis hit the post from a great strike by right winger and centre forward somehow missed open goal from 2 yards out!!

After 30/35 mins a penalty given for delibrate hand ball and duane cooly slotted away despite some Bruce grobbelaar tactics from opposing keeper!! For the first half in general Brett Bellamy top draw and got kicked all over the place!! PSL deservedly lead 1-0 at the break after dominating the remainder of the first half!! Kis hit post again after pen but never going in!!

Second half, and tommy makes a change taking off hattie and going 3-5-2. This seemed to disrupt the balance of PSL And for the whole of second half were outplayed and hung on - mainly due to some excellent defending from the back 3, However the inevitable happened and a lucky bounce meant the ball fell to the centre forward of kis who duly dispatched it and it was 1-1. All kis after that as I said and PSL done well to get to ET.

ET - Eventually the ref has enough and duly sends off one of the Kis players for his 12th foul (i think) foul on Brett. After which he came back into the game after disappering second half !! Another goal by duane after robbing the defender who had a mare and duly finishing well. Fans went wild and a few heated exchanges but all good!!! Kis push forward but Jamie snatches one on the break and the Cup is PSL's!!

Joe's dad (best entertainment of the night - shouting non stop) went wild and hugged his boy (brill) and the cup was in the ginger wizards hands!!

Congratulations to Tommy, Al, Joe and all at PSL. Specially for you Tommy.It goes to show that nice guys don't always finish last. All Peterborough should be proud, in spite of all the adversity put your way you've done the business. It's nice to see that keeping your discipline in very difficult circumstances pays off. It's results like this that make you pleased that your involved in local league football and all the s*it you have to take along the way. Good luck to all still involved in County Cups.

well i heard it was the stewards he ran from! heard he was in talks with you in the buff when a rushden steward walk in then he ran for it from the stewards and onto the pitch.
heres a bit of advice for you. always pay for favours after not before :lol:

Actually al, He did not want to come out when corner wasat that end and tried to persuade him whilst he wantiong me to look out but having none of it and , think w/wood lads chanting his name alerted the Steward as well!! Fair play to Scott though :nwy: The way he hurdled the barrier he should be at liverpool in 2 weeks for the national :lol:

As for paying, people know i'm to tight to pay for anhyting :pty2:
