Nothants Semi Final: Silver Jubilee v Irchester Res - Home Win :gun:

Another big week in Div 1 with Netherton (6th) playing Deeping (1st) who droped points at home to Ketton last week and Rutland (2nd) playing Chatteris (5th) who are in good form in the league, wins for Netherton & Chatteris could throw the league open again and would be good for us. We are in cup action again against a UCL Res league side and looking to make the final and boost morale for nexts weeks other Semi and the league run in, the problem for us will be the fixture pile up at the end of the season!!!!

Title is now back in our hands after our good friends at Ketton did us a massive favour by holding Deeping who I'm told equalised with just three minutes to go.
We had a routine 4-0 win over Ryhall - although the league website doesn't have the details.
They obviously raised their game with it being a local derby, but three goals in the first half settled it really.
Sets us up nicely for a toughie against Chatteris on Saturday. Every time we've got ourselves in a title-winning position this season we've slipped up so hopefully we can get three points and Netherton can also do us a favour.
Hopefully Jubilee's cup game will be postponed again :snt: as a fixture pile-up can only work in our favour.
In all seriousness, good luck in your cup semi - it's always good to see Peterborough League sides doing well. Just a pity we lost in the semi-final of the Leicestershire Junior Cup for the second year running.
