On a poor playin surface in ketton pinchbeck had a fairly good start and were in the lead within 15mins wen cartlidge slotted home after gd work from youngster matthew cannon. Within minutes of the restart captain rick harper was warned by the referee for his foul language. A couple of minutes later ketton had a corner which was well taken and there player handled it wit top of his arm and converted the ball into the back of the net and captain rick harper swore and the referee removed him from the field of lay by showin a straight red which both teams found harsh. After that there were more attackin moves from ketton which never really troubled Jordi Halifax. Pinchbeck were limited to chances in the first half and needed to step up a gear or they wud of suffered a defeat which they didnt need. The second half saw pinchbeck start brighter which nearly saw them take the lead when a inswingin corner from left back Ricky Dickinson caused the defence problems as Cartlidge connected only for a defender to some how clear the ball off the line. From then on it was pinchbeck all the way and they kept attackin but the oppostion gk kept pinchbeck at bay savin 1 on 1s from Cannon and Cartlidge. It wasnt to be pinchbecks day as ketton managed to hold out for the draw which has put a massive dent in pinchbecks concecutive promotion hopes.

Drew Davies got his first start for nearly 2 years! About blinking (no bad language) time.

it's a start. You can't expect the player to be perfect on his first start for 2 years. Perhaps a broken leg and dislocated ankle isn't good enough.

Point will be proven I think over the next few games IF given the chance.
