Couple of slip up's from some of the top teams on saturday, can they put things right this week?
My Predictions:
Benwick Ath 1 v 3 Eye S & S
Farcet 3 v 1 Peterborough Rvrs ( just for you simply me )
Guyhirn 2 v 2 Warboys ( warboys on a high after beating sawtry 3-1 )
Manea Utd 1 v 0 Stilton
March st Marys 1 v 2 Sawtry ( sawtry be disappointed after loss at the weekend, expect them to come out on fire )

We have a semi final (Cambs Cup i think) this week. Away at Wimblington Reserves. Have to say don't know much about them, except they are sitting in 2nd in the Combination Div 1. So another tough game for us. Think the other semi is between Doddington and Chatteris FT.

Farcet 5 v 1 Peterborough Rvrs (comfortable win for Farcet this week)
Guyhirn 2 v 1 Warboys (big game here for guyhirn, have got to keep winning and warboys seem to be playing well as of late, beating Sawtry on Sat. Tough to call here but gonna go with Guyhirn.)
Manea Utd 2 v 1 Stilton (another tough game to call, but judging only on our recent game with Stilton i am going to go with Manea as was disappointed with Stilton on that day)
March st Marys 2 v 2 Sawtry ( March are another team on the up and fancy them go push Sawtry all the way. Either side could edge this one but i am going for a draw!)
Just had a quick look at the table and saw that Eye have only got us left to play after their game this week!!! We have still got 11 league games and two cup games yet!
Not sure what effect this is going to have on the league, only Manea have played less than us so we're always playing catch up. On the other hand if teams like Eye have to wait 4or5 weeks for their next game are they going to match fit etc etc. What you reckon?
Coates - dave, with ref to how i think the league will end up..my top 5 are:
1st Coates
2nd Guyhirn
3rd Sawtry
4th Stilton
5th Doddington
You are in a good position as you have games in hand on both teams just above n below you in the league. We cant do nothing about Guyhirn or Sawtry as we have played them twice already, but believe me we be going all out to put a dent in doddington & stiltons hopes of any promotion ideas they may have...
We are now on a good 3 game unbeaten run and we plan on keeping that going until the end of the season.

Have noticed we are down to play Guyhirn away sometime in May (looks like our last game) so the league on current form could go down to that game!! What a finish to the season that would be!
Hopefully we can get through to at least one final this season as we've been in the PFA Challenge semi's for the last 2 seasons. Both going to replays! Be nice to make the final!
Let's hope you can remin unbeaten for the rest of the season, gives you a dam good platform for next season!!

I personally think that the the two promotion spots have already been secured. Would be shocked if any one else other than Guyhirn and Coates went up now. Guyhirn I think are prone to making mistakes, (even I scored against them!) which I think will see the title handed over to Coates.
As for Wimblington RES. The strength of the team will depend solely on how much the first team value thier fight for survival in the Prem. They are very good at moving players up and down their three teams when it matters. Strikers and wingers offer either a lot of pace, or strength. You should suss them out fairly quickly. Defensively not as good.

Guyhirn 5 v 2 Warboys (newton to bag at least a brace)
Manea Utd 2 v 1 Stilton (for me.. Manea to edge stilton)
March st Marys 1 v 1 Sawtry (close match.... could just go either way?)
Cambs cup semi final's
wimblington Res V Coates ath :soo: dont no nothing about these
doddington 4 v 1 fen Tigers (doddington to be too strong for the tigers)
Some intresting facts about eye only having a match left after this weeked CAFCDave.. some what different to the pile up we have left plus HOPEFULLY 2 cup finals!

I couldnt have been further out on my predictions if i tried!!
We were disappointing bigtime saturday, 3-1 up at halftime and cruising towards what should have been our fourth win in a row. But form some strange reason we didnt even come out for the 2nd half and conceded 4 goals in 20 minutes. I think that has to be our worst display all season and believe me we have had some real S**T displays.
No game for us this week as doddington are in a cup game.
